Really Napoleon was the only gunpowder one worth a damn IMO.

Empire was full of glitches and bugs, plus artillery was completely useless.

Napoleon though had virtually no campaign, I was sorely disappointed in it. Arty was not useless in Empire, trust me on this. Depends on how you'd use it I guess, but I never had trouble with it. Timing was key, choosing the right time to load grapeshot could stop a charge in it's tracks.

You can't win with the Ottomans without proper use of artillery. This is your only chance, i'd even say. If you want a challenge, play on hard an Ottomans.

And TBH they were all glitched, just depends on how much of an RTS freak you are really  ... I remember defending cities in mw2 with a small amount of spearmen, spread in a halve circle at the gates, archers situated behind and I could prevent full armies getting in.

glitch =/ human player smarter then CPU.

I just like the empire concept because trading and your ports is so important there although moneymaking does become too easy after a few turns with some factions.

Who could ever get enough of world domination?
