Ride the lightening because it has the song for whom the bell tolls. I like the old style they had with super long bad ass ballads. Much better than the cock rock garbage they made beginning about the black album. Plus. I am a Ernest Hemingway fan...

I am almost half way through Ride he Lightining.

Master is next.

I am still thinking Ride.

But ya. I agree with an earlier poster that it is a toss up between ride the lightening and master of puppets. The song Orion on master of puppets is one of my favorite tracks ever.

That reminds me. Fuck! I need to get some Metallica in my iTunes. Only have CDs which stay at work...

I don't listen to metallica anymore so i should've chosen STAL, but kill 'em all is the only one i can tolerate hearing anymore.

Kill em all most definitely had some soul and class. I would give that album their third best album.

Who the fuck needs lyrics when you kick that much ass. That song takes a tour from metal to some sort of nineteenth-century waltz or symphony. That's why I like ride the lightening and master of puppets. It is complex...

Everything before the black album after that album and some of the black album things got weird.

Like the started drinking white wine spritzers and hanging out with rip taylor I dont know im drunk.
But I do know that after the black album and that Napster fiasco they suck balls
