I picked "Ride the Lighting", but I was really torn between that and "Master Of Puppets".

On a side note, my first real music purchase was "Master of Puppets", and Iron Maiden "Live After Death".
I Heard "Master of Puppets" on a field trip to go see sea lions and loved it. I then remembered a song my cousin played called, "Phantom of the Opera" and found it on that album. Bought them both the same day

From that day on I was hooked.

Funny, we must be about the same age. I remember when the Black album came out and I was like, the fuck is this. My good friend ended up going to see the concert and I stayed at home. I ended up eating some and listened to the Black album and thought, "why didn't i go?" Eh, I got over it. So to this day I bot have fond memories of the black album while still thinking it is crap

That's funny, they came to Anchorage back in the day and I didn't go and regret it big time, what the fuck was I thinking. Not like we get good bands in their prime up here very often.
