its on a flat area thats surrounded by hills, at night time they have massive truck sized light projectors that project changing patterns up onto the hills, so everything is all lit up with patterns at night. its pretty dawn awesome, and the stages are massive

Sounds too much like a Woodstock burnout festival with people shitting in the bushes and grubby hippies fucking in the mud while people listen to what amounts to cats being beaten with tambourines while some jerk on stage grunts and shows off his package. I would have to be pretty high on drugs to endure that myself. OP has the right idea.

It has toilets. Good toilets. Lots of them. And showers. There's no mud - it's the middle of summer. The music is mostly electronic and psychedelically influenced, which I know ain't everyone's cap of tea.

And... I don't really think it's anything like Woodstock, from what I've read of Woodstock.... that's a .. erm... weird thing to say. I get what you're trying to do. Paint a little picture of tropes and cliches into some awful image... but man... the image you paint is just... well... it's more like Confest.

yeah I've been meaing to check out confest hahaha/ a few of my mates go every and again, sounds likea good time. i do prefer the smaler bush parties to the bigger ones, but rainbows pretty big to pass up, especially if younger brother and opiuo are gonna be there :smile:

I went to Strawberry Fields recently... and it wasn't that great. The smaller ones are nearly always more fun, more intimate! Confest is pretty fun... but it does fit more appropriately the "dirty, mud covered, Woodstock-esque, poo-in-the-bushes" cliche. But, there's toilets there too. And it's a good fun festival, if you like that sort of thing. And drumming. Lots of drumming.

ive only been to a couple down there. but they were boss nonetheless. havent even done any of the small vic bush doofs, a bit out of the loop. i get fb invites from a few people but never seem to be able to make it. do you do much bush doofing in vicc?

Did when I had a car! Hard to get out to things now... plus I'm working, studying and the girlfriend works full time managing a store too... so we have little free time, which sucks... coz the little ones were my favourite! Drive out to the bush for the weekend... doof... drive home. Was good times!!
