Rainbow Serpent Festival 2013

Who's going? I'm hoping to be back in time for it, should have plenty of time up my sleeve. Already stocked up with a couple of ounces of k and some acid and a few research chems to fry on. Should be awesome this time around. I'm going to be in a permanent k hole.

Didn't recognise too much of the lineup, only Oka, Opiuo, Mr. Bill and Kasey Taylor, seen a couple of the other names around but nothing that really springs to mind.

Should be awesome though, trying to convince my girlfriend to go as well (shes never been) and seems pretty keen :thumbup:

some of the best times ive had at doofs is k holing in a world of acid-induced hysteria, grooving to some funky beats :awehigh:

might hit it up now that i am down in vic, gonna check out the doof scene down here, rainbow serpent is a bit more commercial from what ive heard, but none the less woudnt mind checkin out prometheus and simon posfords younger brother set, but besides that dunno how willing i am to shell out so much money for a ticket, im more into psy sets anyway and im not THAT impressed with the lineup thus far

i'm not going this year. the heat was too farked last year, i don't like not having any of the basic ammenities available, i.e. a shower, clean water, toilet, a kitchen, and i couldn't get any sleep due to the sun turning my tent into a sauna by 7am. and i can't handle sleep depp. plus the people i camped with were all douchebags as well so i had a shitty time. i dont think i really fit in at rainbow

i have to admit the whole production and just sheer scale of what they create out there is pretty damn amazing and impressive. but i don't think its for me.

haha, i've been raving on K before, i actually discovered that K is a great drug for dancing because it makes you all liquidy and loosens you up and shit. but what i found was that when i was really high on K i wouldn't be dancing anymore i'd just be gorilla walking around and pausing at random moments and making odd facial expressions, and then continuing on through the crowd hahah :trippnballs:

I'm going for sure. Last year is the first rainbow I've missed in 6 years. I had a good excuse though, I was in Amsterdam.

And you're right, I was on the dance floor on K for Mr Bill's set at eclipse festival last month and it was fucking AWESOME!

they have toilets but you have to walk for ages just to take a piss or a shit. and by the 2nd day the toilets are so gross man. it's literally just a festering shit mound. hay bro put some saw dust on your turds it will make it better?!?!

Rainbow was insane earlier this year,i went too hard had an eye infection
and severe sunburn by the second day lol

best festival i have ever been too hands down

Ketamine would be amazing for it

Yeah I went way too hard the first night a couple of years ago and destroyed my feet dancing all night barefoot in the dust and walked to the top of the mountain in the morning, sobered up and looked at my feet like WTF trenchfoot, was tentbound the rest of the festival. :sad:

couldn't even stand. Had to get a mate to carry me to the main stage to watch shpongle, and we just sat in the grass on the hill and watched the show. was still awesome and I made a point to be as twisted as possible on acid.

Next year you'll either find me watching the doof, or on top of the mountain doing mountainous sized lines of k. I'm gonna try and get on top of that huge mountain on the other side next year.

ouch trenchfoot! i slept in the car the whole time last rainbow,
one morning i woke up with my leg out the window literaly sizzling
in the sun it was bleeding from the burns and i have the whitest skin
haha,

that mountain is crazy the view of the festival and the tent city is amazing

I guess I misunderstood k-holing. I thought it meant you were so dissociated and anaesthetized you couldn't move and were basically in a thought loop? Im a ketamine noob, have only done it twice and not that much.
