Anno, I took care of that for you. It's at the very bottom of the forum list...

One of the reasons marijuana is illegal today because growers in the 30s lobbied against hemp farmers -- they saw it as competition, because It is not chemically addictive as is nicotine, alcohol, or caffeine.

Then do it in the Pub or OTD or even S & P.

I admit that dreams are a cool topic and can generate a lot of discussion.

But you keep forgetting that this is a site essentially dedicated to magic mushrooms. There are far more relevant subject areas (Garden, ODD) that only have the single forum.

It has to stop somewhere.

Under your logic for "good" reasons for a forum we wouldn't have the Spirituality and philosophy forum, off topic, pub, support group, gathering, science and technology, politics.
They'r all good forums. Some move slower and don't apeal to certain people, but they get to stick around.
All i'm asking is that you give it a chance. See how it goes for a week or two, and if it dosent apeal to enouph. Kill It. That simple.
Go out on a limb man. I'll be forever greatful

I'm all for it! We sleep one third of our life and dream nearly every time we sleep. This field has only had the surface skimmed and I think that dreams are just as important a topic as any of the other non-entheogen forums.

I have a fairly extensive background in lucid dreaming and have read every bit of literature I can get my hands on pertaining to that and related fields. If anyone needs help manifesting this forum idea, just PM me and I will be of whatever assistance you need.

In the end, my friend, we will all be together again.

If you're not sure, perhaps I can offer some persuasion.

Dreams are a big topic. S&P consistently gets many dream threads. While I welcome them there, sometimes I have thought it would be more appropriate if they had their own forum, there is certainly more than enough material already to constitute it. Though I am kind of split on this because I think it would cut down S&P traffic.

We spend a good 30-40% of our lives sleeping, and dreams are our only memory of that cogitative state. Dreams are important, for many reasons, and we must remember them, as they reflect waking reality. Writing down your dreams and talking with others about them helps greatly in the cognitive process. This is fact.

It's part of the Entheogenic Experience..  Dreams are our portal into the deep cosmic god within.. they are parallel to mushrooms and everything psychedelic ten times over! Dreams belong in the forefront of our consciousness, not in the background, so that we can analyze them and make more sense of them/reality. Dreams are the subconscious defragmenting..what is OTD?

..or we could make a dream sticky thread and watch it grow to 500 pages..

I wouild like to support this idea - dreams are images created by the mind much as hallucinogens are. I think dreams can be very psychedellic and it ties in with herbs like Calea. It seems like the forum idea is getting a lot of user support so why not? You sure don't seem against stupid joke forums lol.
