actually it wasn't so cold this time around. we were there for the longest day of the year which was pretty much 24 hours of daylight the whole time. for sunset the sun pretty much dipped below the horizon at about 6am for about half an hour then popped back up again. was pretty weird. i didn;t like it much, I prefer darkness. It was really good weather, never got much below -2 celsius, and not much wind either. was the best trip I've done so far, and got to get ashore a couple of times which was good to stretch the legs a bit
