Bassnectar is good in his own right and in a certain context but Bassnectar and Phish are completely different. A comparison is sort of silly, IMO.

You never posted a police report. :lol: The article has police saying that the mom couldn't find her daughter, freaked out and called the police. Gordon was taking pictures of the girl and the Hells Angel father and friends roughed him up. If he was doing something serious, you can bet they wouldn't have let him walk away. Anyway, the family didn't press charges and it was agreed that it was "an unfortunate misunderstanding, and we look forward to putting this matter behind us." I'm not sure why you think something more than the official record was going on when the little girls parents didn't even take issue with the situation after everything was cleared up. :facepalm:


They didn't do anything because Gordon said he would pay them off. Rumor is he paid 10 million.

Phish bassist Mike Gordon, 38, was arrested Monday, August 11th, on charges of child endangerment after he was found with a nine-year-old girl in a secluded boathouse during a show by the Dead in Jones Beach, New York.

According to a statement released by Major Richard O'Donnell of the New York State Park Police, Gordon was charged with a misdemeanor count of child endangerment and trespassing. "The arrest was the result of a complaint by the mother of a nine-year-old girl," reads the statement. "The mother became concerned when she could not locate her daughter in the backstage area."
According to New York's WNBC television, Gordon told police that he was taking "art photos" of the girl.

Where is the evidence of that even being a rumor? I'm not sure why you felt the need to quote the article when that's exactly what I summarized in the post you were replying to. The mother couldn't find the girl, she freaked, the girl was found with photographer Mike and the parents dropped thew hole situation after the Hells Angel father roughed him up a little for the trouble. If child molestation were even a question he wouldn't have survived that encounter.

I love Phish but do not care for the scene just the music and dancing. their is no true group like the family except the fam I could say horrible things about some Phish heads and the group sop but I'll shut-up

I hate to say it but there are horrible people in all groups, including "the fam." If you go into the experience with an open mind you might just fall into the Phish phamily vibe.

SO fucking irritating. They have nothing to contribute to the FB except post stupid Phish videos all the time. They are so fucking brainwashed.
One of my high school friends posted something like this:
" I feel bad for non phish fans because they are missing out on some of the best music from the best band in the world. I will people weren't so small minded."

I'm a Phish fan and have been for a long time, and I must say that many Phish fans irritate me as well. At the same time, I've met some of the coolest people ever at Phish shows and actually had one of the most amazing spiritual experiences at a Phish show. I've also had some of the best times in my life at Phish shows.

But yeah, wooks are annoying...and they aren't just at Phish shows. There are annoying people lots of places.

I agree with bass freak. Bassnectar is far more entertaining than Phish. Would rather see bassnectar over hearing phish play possum or mikes song for the 400th time.

Bassnectar plays the same shit all the time too, he's repetitive and that's where I start losing interest in his music. Phish is much more varied and has literally more music to work with than Bassnectar does. I don't even think that's really something subjective either.
