they irritate the fuck out of me and more often than not i go in to operate with a needle or something similar.

im not gonna lie, sometimes this makes them much much worse. they can triple in size, scab and swell, not very attractive on the side of your nose or chin... however, the occasional success makes it all worth while, nothing is more satisfying than draining that irritating puss out from beneath your skin.

I know what you mean.  You need to time it right.  Too soon and you have a serious infection at hand, too late and it doesn't heal right for way too long.

Use a very hot compress and pray a lot.
