Do certain elements have a slight advantage over other elements e.g. water commands fire, so any fiery personalities or influences are put to a lesser extent than the watery influences. Does this have anything to do with it?

How do you know this? I've been checking the charts but this is sort of chinese for me.

it would be interesting if we posted our signs and then looked for other members with our opposed sign or whatever to see if we get along :uptosomething:

Well my birthday was March 19th, so technically speaking my sun sign is Pisces but it's in the transition from Pisces to Aries. So I've got both the water sign qualities of Pisces and fire sign qualities of Aries. It really made sense for me because I'm just one big contradiction of wishy washy daydreamy sensitivity and aries impulsivity and rashness n' all. People who are born towards the end of one month are likely to be cusp signs and possess qualities of both zodiac signs that straddle those months.

It basically means that you don't make any sense at all and you're one giant contradiction.

Heh. well there's a little bit of a "thang" going on between me and a virgo(which is interesting because they are the complete opposite of pisces) so I will definitely report back :smilingpuppy:

I had already corrected thar, probably the website is from the US and automatically assumes a time zone completely different than mine, I had already corrected it and it is accurate with the info I had.
I had never read more about how to read these charts but I was checking the planets on the houses and their influences and somethings do add up, I think Chiron on the 8th house is probably the most accurate although there are more.
I'm yet to discover how you can check your aspects.

You can say, "I am an aquarius" nothing wrong with that. It's like telling people your first name. Just the start.

Yes our moon signs affect our personalities.

The planets that affect our personality the most are

Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Pluto. And aspects between these planets as well.

For example: I have a Capricorn moon, I appear unemotional and serious on the outside, and this is because Capricorn is very "uncomfortable" in this position. But I also have a Moon Conjunct Neptune.

Moon = Emotions Neptune = Pisces = Sensitive/Emotional water sign

So the moon conjunct neptune softens me up a lot. Makes me more sensitive.

Every element has its advantage.

Fire is more outgoing, so they make more friends, and less likely to not speak up when needing something.

Air is very intellectual, they are also social, Gemini and Aquarius are more intellectual than Libra, But Libra and Gemini are more social than Aquarius.

Earth is stable and secure, they can set their mind to something and achieve it, It can take years, but they will never give up. They are slow steady and capable.

Water signs are very intuitive, and in touch with the emotions around them, they can also be quite psychic, especially pisces. This may give them an edge in relationships where affection is needed/desired, they are very passionate so life will always be interesting.

But lets say I am a Capricorn, I can still be extremely intelligent like the Air Signs if I have the right aspects. If I have a Sun Conjunct Mercury this would make me smarter, mercury/uranus aspects make me a creative thinker.

Or I can be a shy emotional pisces, but have a Leo Mars, Aries Ascendant, and Moon Conjunct Mars which would make me a lot more outgoing.

So this is why Sun Sign is only important to a certain extent.

There are tons of sites and blogs on the web about astrology.

If you have a curiosity about a certain thing just type it on google.

Lets say I wanted to learn about the houses in astrology.

"What does each house mean in astrology" on google search and I will have tons of stuff to read.

I would suggest you look up Aspects between planets though, they are very important on learning more about yourself. Strengths/Weaknesses

I've had a long time interest in astrology and have paid special attention to the signs and relationships of people around me and I definitely think there is "something to it". For instance how this thread seems to be total Pisces bait...

My signs:

Sun: Pisces, Moon: Cancer, Ascendant: Capricorn

It's a stressful combination. I feel like the Capricorn influence towards ambition and status is always at conflict my very watery nature.

Opposites Attract in Astrology, So Virgo would be a great match for you being a pisces.

You've probably had many relationships with people who have the opposite ascendant sign as yours. It is really interesting..

You'll never know for sure unless you know the persons birth time though.

Go to the "beginners birth chart" link that I posted to start this thread, you can type in your info and it will give you MOST of your planetary aspects, if you want ALL of them you can go to the More accurate of the two birth Chart links that I posted, although that one is a bit tricky to read.

I remember that I used to have a group of friends in Middle School,

there were 6 of us total.

Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Taurus, and A Virgo.

All Earth and Water Signs.

I don't think this is a coincidence at all.

And your sun/moon/asc combination could be a lot worst so just be thankful and try to work with it, it's certainly possible.

I'm trying through the most complete.
So the aspects I can see through those red and blue lines?
For instance I have Sun connected to Pluto, Mars and Saturn (all three on my 1st house) through these red lines is it safe to say I have these aspects of Sun (conjunct with each separately?)

Read the more complex birth chart like you would read one of those

12 by 12 multiplcation tables.

Don't look at the big circle with all of the lines.

Look at the little stair case thing with all of the differnt shapes and symbols.

If you study it long enough you should be able to figure it out.

Triangle = Trine
Star = Sextile
The little o's with a tail on them = Conjunct
The two TINY o's with a line connecting them = Opposition
And a Square = A square of course

All of the other aspects on the table (The Green and Black colored ones) are very tiny almost unnoticable , so dont really pay attention to those. Just focus on the major ones for Now

Trine, Sextile, Opposition, Conjunction, and Squares
