No, you don't get it. Not all women are the same, just like not all men are the same. It's stupid to try and say that all women are a certain way and assuming that all women are the same might end up keeping you from some amazing women who are actually completely different than what you're talking about.

It feels really shitty that so many of you assume that all women are the same way. I hate that an entire group that I am a part of is perceived so negatively even though many of us don't fit into the little negative boxes that people like to try to shove us into.

You guys always think that actually engaging in discussion means that someone is upset. Maybe I just like to talk about these sorts of issues?

I do feel like he was talking to was being a condescending ass unnecessarily but I get that that's part of his internet persona for whatever reason (it seems like he gets off on thinking he has upset people?) and it's not like I was actually taking it personally.

Social interactions and perceptions interest me greatly and I like getting new perspectives on things like this even if I don't necessarily agree with them. So, thanks for the discussion guys.
