I've been pretty stressed lately. We aren't having relationship problems but my girlfriend and I have been dealing with a few things lately and I've found it hard to cope. My stress is a solid 7.

I'm stressed because a company we are doing a rush job for gave me a wrong drawing.

I basically wasted my day yesterday, and am pulling a 14hr day today to catch up.

and I can't/won't smoke weed at work.

Stressed to a point where I want to quit my job abandon my house and escape human society permanently.

I'm stressin at a 6. Seemed right cuz I'm dealing with finals right now and I'm constantly broke so I'm trying to think of ways to change that without getting into trouble. Lost my car recently due to a bad engine so I needa save up for that. I keep asking my job for a raise but they keep beating around the bush and shit, so might be time to look for a new/second job or other means of income.

Also, need some "strange" SUPER bad. Single for the holidaze :/

Definitely 10, at least right now.  Gotta work in an hour...  Will probably drop down to a 4 after work.  I work 7 days a week, and some days are 12 hour days.  And finals next week and the week after...  Thanksgiving was really hard too, first one with a divorced bickering family, so I'm not looking forward to Christmas.  fml..

Dealing with it all on a very intense benzodazepine withdrawal.

I put an 8..  Drug addiction, mental health issues, unhappy with my life, hardly working at all/enough to say I'm unemployed, living situation with roommates who don't respect anything in the house or clean up after themselves..

Last night a switch just flipped and I went ape shit.  After holding everything in so long I just couldn't anymore, but once I realized I was going to break shit I just got in my car and went for a drive(to get some drugs.)

No money, no job, no car, crappy living situation, physically worn down and insomnia ridden. I am at the highest stress point of my life so somewhere between 8 and 9.

I have at least 5 thoughts of suicide per day, but I doubt I'd ever act on it while my family is alive.

In the last year I've developed about 30 gray hairs and have started premature balding. I'm such a nervous wreck that I destroyed my lips by chewing them up and it has caused recurring lesions that aren't cold sores but seem to act like them (tested clean 2x).

I feel physically sick most mornings because I don't have it in me to keep doing this every day. I'm so poor that I can't pay the IRS the $11 that I owe them, nor can I afford even basic groceries, even though I work like a slave.

I met the only woman I've liked in years and we hit it off really well but then she left me after a month because I treated her too nicely (her words).

I feel so much like giving up :sad:

"what is your biggest source of stress in life"
poll to checkboxes so we can select more then one.


I, for one, would have checked about 3 or 4 of them if possible.

Buddy, if she said you're too nice to her then she doesn't love herself to be loved by a nice dude like you. You can't love unless you love yourself and the same goes for giving it. It wouldn't have worked out, you're a nice guy and she knew all this and didn't want to really hurt you. It wouldn't have worked out for you. Cheer up dude, there's a silver lining to everything. Your mind is bleak but your heart knows there's good in life. It doesn't want to give up because you're still here, so don't let your mind take precedence over what you know in your heart is right. Your life is worth living and I can tell you're a solid dude, and I haven't even met you. Confidence is everything, not just in the ladies. Be confident about YOU. Have faith brother, things always turn around, its the time in between and us getting caught in the wait that really brings us down. Why wait any longer, I say. Life is worth living, but only when you do it for you.

My stress is reducing. Used to be a solid 10 for quite a while, but now I'm coping much better; I answered 8. Also, it isn't my main source of stress, but school should be an option to choose.

I'm a 10, severely stressed beyond any point of breaking. I have somehow kept myself from letting it overcome me, but the light at the end of the seemingly neverending tunnel only continues to get dimmer and smaller. I have many other problems though not JUST stress but never talk to a doc about it due to embarassment. In the meantime I just trudge along hoping that things will get better, things will change and I won't feel like I'm going to stroke out at any moment.

Thanks guys, I really mean it.

I'll never give up, if anything this year has made me even more hellbent on rising above, even if it kills me. I've been resisting the last bit of heroin in my desk for over two months and I feel like if I can do that then I can do anything. Really wish I had some herb to smooth things over though.

The thing with the girl destroyed me, she was the only part of my life that wasn't a battle and to have her say that that was the reason why she was leaving... I felt like the universe was entirely malevolent towards me.

It's just one absolute hell of a low, but I'm sure one day the sun will rise again and all will be good. :peace:
