i did take 10mg of ativan, but i wasnt drinking. Now leave me alone. im fine now its wearing off

I hope you have some benzo tolerance ... ativan comes on VERY fast, and we push it in (often) tenth of a milligram increments in people who are having seizures or are suffering from severe trauma.  that's intravenous so you avoid first-pass metabolism, but still, lorazepam is strong stuff.  At least tell someone in your household or wherever you are to keep an eye on you - i'm sure we'd all feel better if you did.

That's true lol.  I don't know benzos too well but I do know that's a ridiculous dose.  Shouldn't be physically harmful but is be very surprised if he remembers anything past10 minutes.  He is probably sleeping and will wake up in a week to tell us lol.  If you are awake please don't drive or even go in public!

it has been 18 minutes.  That's about how long it takes for oral ativan to take effect (well, it's generally several minutes less than that, but depending on body weight and other factors it can vary).  Let's hope he has looked at some of these replies by now.
