Huge crackdown on MMJ
    #17162473 -

Coming soon.

Doesn't matter who wins the election.

Especially if one of the legalize referendums passes.

Better stock up.

Stock up what a laugh. Seriously if you want good high grade weed learn to grow for yourself and don't sell just do it for you if you follow my advice the chances of being arrested is extreamly low unless you brag about it or go showing off your grow to any one, just be smart. Fuck the law kid.

Obama has said he'll reconsider the drug war in his second term. With legalization possible in many states there's going to be a big hubbub around the whole marijuana issue. On this issue, it does matter who wins the election because one candidate has expressed being open to change while the other candidate has expressed that he is vehemently against even medical use. Do some research, don't just rely on your own predictions.

Seriously, the guy said he was pro-MMJ just to get the marijuana crowd to vote for him when he ran the first time and when he took office the crackdowns became worse than ever. Now he's running again and surprise, surprise he's really going to "reconsider" mmj just like he "reconsidered" on gay marriage. Give me break.

more dispensaries were busted under the 4 years of obama than were busted under
8 years of bush, yes weed is still around, the black market always will be but
it doesnt change the fact that a number of states have passed laws that allow
for the sale of marijuana to medical patients through state authorized outlets
and the owners of these dispensaries lose everything when the feds raid them.
the lose the property, the money, the marijuana and their freedom, they're
still responsible for the space they've leased and any damage caused by the
feds as well as monitary losses to the owner for rents that the lessee was
obligated for

yeah, he's reconsidering how hard he's going to crack down and how many more
lives he'll fuck in states where people are abiding by the laws

Hm, you got me there Pris. I can't find a link to where he actually said that right now, so maybe he didn't though for some reason I thought he did. It's not like it's something that he can just come out and say without getting backlash. Anyway, it's something his aides have suggested that it's a second term issue, which you can discover for yourself if you do a little research. And with the fact that states will be voting on legalization, it's something he will be definitely addressing if he gets a second term and he's more likely to fall on our side than Romney.

Can I see a link showing where he claims that he's ended the war on drugs? :hmm:

Hmmm which do you think is going to be easier on drugs, the guy who said "I inhaled, that was the point" or the guy whos hero is "'just say no' Reagan".

It's not like the president personally signs off on raids any way.

Good point.
But Obama has been president for 4 years already.  It's not like he hasn't had the chance to do something about marijuana. Shit, he's still got time as president, he could start getting something going.
Not to mention Obama already said he thinks legalization isn't the answer.  But he's open to debate.  Not sure what that leaves room to debate, besides decriminalization and same ol' prohibition, but whatever.

And on Romney, yeah he seems harsh on marijuana, but maybe he just wants votes from people who feel the same way.  Candidates ALWAYS say this and that pre-election, then never do shit about what they say.  His stance on bud could be the same, you know?  Election fluff.

Either way, I see no hope on a federal level.
But 3 states could set off a big chain of events...

I'm not sure what people expect the President to do.

He is a member of the Executive branch, charged by the fucking Constitution with enforcing the laws given to him by CONGRESS.

Until Congress passes a fucking law saying that Marijuana is legal, for medical purposes or anything else, what the fuck do you want him to do?

Unless, of course, you think one branch of the government being able to supersede all of the others and do whatever the fuck it wants is a great idea.

In that case, I'm sure North Korea and it's rubber-stamp Politburo will welcome you with open arms.

But for fucks sake, if you're going to stay in America figure out how shit works here.

I highly doubt the first Black president will want to be the guy that made weed legal.

Couldn't be any worse for black people than what we already hear about.

But as a black president, one probably wouldn't want to go against the powers that profit off marijuana prohibition. Not without a Mexican vice president, anyway.
