You are just as cruel and lowly as they are if not more so.

No form of violent retribution aids in stopping the actual issue at hand: animal cruelty.

Find ways to instill respect between people, pets, and wildlife.

Maybe train your dumb dog better. I often have to scream till my lungs ache to get my loser junkie neighbors dog to shut up because he is to lazy to train and take care of his own animal.

Not that I would ever want to harm an animal, sometimes I just want to get a tiny ball of opium and mix it into peanut butter and throw it over to the doggie. help him quiet down for a bit.

Education will always be the key to solving issues, particularly those of violence and misunderstanding.

Educate dogs on proper etiquette, and educate those who don't like them so much how to deal with annoying piece of shit animals that crap in our yards, tear up our gardens and keep us up all night.

If animal cruelty should be able to be punished by death, then those who are shitty animal owners should be able to get the same punishment

If it was our local grocery store would probably go out of business next week, what with how animals are treated in the modern farming/livestock industry.

And sorry to say it but unless your doing it to feed your family, "sport" hunters should be thrown in the same boat.

One increasingly common sight that I have taken issue to; some drivers in these parts-particularly teens-in large trucks or even sporty drifting cars purposely hitting squirrels, cats, what ever animal dares to cross their path.

Saw a kid do it in his brand new white jetta, pull over and as I biked by I heard him get out and complain about how some of the blood was on the paint. I was 2 cars behind him on a bike and saw the cat coming.... The kid coulda slowed down but no plows right into it.

drivers like that get U-locks to headlights and mirrors or if they are really fucked up they get forked up. Keying is passe carry a fork!

No, i do not think animal cruelty should result in the death penalty.

Under almost any circumstance.

I mean maybe, if someone did it just right, i would see to it..

That they got the death penalty, however i see that as slim.. to none.

I'm pretty much against the death penalty for everything for the simple reason that it's not cost effective compared to life in prison and innocent people have fallen through the cracks. However it's hard for me to say certain people don't deserve to die in cases of rape, child molestation, and a few others. Even some cases of animal cruelty I can't say I'd try to stop someone from eliminating a person who was legitimately guilty but of course that brings on all of it's own potential for abuse. I know that if someone seriously abused like mutilated one of my pets I'd have a hard time not doing something about it.

So it's ok as long as you don't "own" the animal?

Fuck no it's not okay. Anybody who tortures animals for their own sadistic pleasures, I hope they suffer a long, slow, painful death.

But it happens every day to animals, for milk, eggs, meat, leather, cosmetics, medical.
Most people here will use animal tested products.

Does your wishing them a horrid drawn out death make the world a better place?  Now that you're wishing, wish that they change their mind before they do it.  With your cruel desire removed, that WOULD make the world a better place.

Not really, nothing would change.

One of the seven billion inhabitants of the earth would harbor one less cruel desire.

That IS a change.

A desire of which they wouldn't action any way. Therefore it would only be a mental change and not a physical one. Since mental isn't the world it's personal there would be no change. No physical change that will affect anything.
So if someone seriously hurt someone close to you in a sadistic way. What would you do?
