Embrace the Illness

So I've had a fucking long month and a half. This summer dealing with parents divorce, losing a job, not being able to find a job, going back to school, etc. etc. I'm usually not nearly this stressed.

Anyhow, I fell ill a couple days ago with a nasty flu. I could barely stand or eat, and cigarette smoke wouldn't even go into my lungs without a fight.

So I decided after stepping out of a 45 minute Hawaiian hotbox, why not just embrace this illess, and use it as an opportunity to be thankful for something as simple as one's health. Here I am today, a little stuffed up but feeling, dandy!

Remember kiddies, embrace everything. When you welcome suffering as a worthy juxtaposition to daily life, it is no longer suffering, but something more meaningful.
