Im in Detroit all the time. I dont hang out in the rougher parts because I have no business
being there but all you have done is talk shit about a city because it has some bad spots.

Again Detroit is huge at nearly 140-square miles and there is much to enjoy and much to be left
alone. For people like you it seems you see one bad part of town and chalk the rest of this
huge city up to a ghetto :lol:

A friend of mine lived over there by Woodward and 7 mile where they have the huge mansions (although extremely old). His dad is a well known "bishop" in the city and the mansion was formerly John Sally's. It is the largest home in the entire city of Detroit (see links below).

Right outside the neighborhood it is a hell hole.

You posted Indian Village. I had a friend who moved into one of those old mansions with his uncle. I visited him several times before he was shipped off to prison. My God is that area horrific. You literally pull out of the neighborhood and go one block and you are deep in the ghetto. Mack Avenue is not exactly a safe street.

You have 2 nice neighborhoods surrounded by the slums.

Detroit has gotten worse over the decades and it will continue to deteriorate. Even the nice areas (if you want to call it that) are surrounded by crime ridden wastelands. You have to be delusional to believe otherwise.

This isn't an opinion. Detroit is one of the worst cities in America.

One of the most dangerous. One of the poorest. One of the highest in unemployment and crime, and corruption.

And one of the worst school systems in the nation.

i know the area he speaks of very well and will vouch that everything he has said is fact. You post up these pictures of two houses on a block. Well fuck, go one street down and you have pictures of burnt down houses and naked crackheads. Yeah, Boston Edison and Indian Village have some fucking awesome, huge houses, but there is a reason these MANSIONS will sell in the 200,000s. Why could this be? Why is the property value low? What are the factors that contribute to a low property value? Dude, we all love the city, but look at it for what it is. If we can all get a correct conceptual framework of what this city has come to, then maybe it can be fixed.

check this guy out, GASM, hes all over the D literally every where.

I personally know the guy that does that, went to school with him. He has some balls for sure and gets tags in seemingly impossible places.

But overall yeah, Detroit and surrounding areas aren't that bad, just certain areas are kinda rough. I've always liked it here, decent place to live. Never had too much trouble getting anything i needed, drugs or otherwise. Just don't be stupid and keep a low profile and Detroit is cool, but at the same time you do need to blend in else locals/police will notice you and then you may become a target. This is key. Don't go someplace that you don't belong or aren't welcome unless you really know what your doing.
