Anyone who's been into Techno Music for the last 10 years or so will probably have stumbled across one of Dave The Drummer's records. He's the one of the key producers behind the Acid Techno Sound of London in the 1990's and owner of one of the best known techno labels in the world "Hydraulix"

For the past 15 years D.A.V.E. has been DJ'ing from his vast catalogue of tracks all over the world. As a DJ He has a reputation for being innovative and sharp on the
turntables, and now, playing with Traktor Scratch and Cross by MixVibes with an armload of fresh, new,
unreleased material, his DJ sets have become explosive

Never one to be tied down, DAVE continues to choose his own direction, supporting the smaller intimate underground venues as well as running his own events in London, He is still a regular visitor to Brasil as well as Japan , Australia , Venezuela, Canada , Russia, and the rest of Europe and has played most of the world best clubs and festivals over his 15 year career as a traveling DJ.

In recent years Dave’s sound has shifted away from the fast acidic sound of the London underground to a slower funkier techno groove. His recent work on sister label Mutate to Survive along with tracks on Reklusive, Naked Lunch, Hydraulix 909 and his Studio productions and collaborations with other techno producers are
picking up attention from some of the worlds top techno DJ's. Including regular plays from:

A. Paul, Len Faki, Fergie, Adam Beyer, Ritchie Hawtin, Bryan Zentz, DJ Preach, DJ Murphy, Carl Cox, Wehbba, Joseph Capriati, Sasha Carassi and many more.

<<<<<<<Stoneowl>>>>>>>

http://soundcloud.com/stoneowl
http://www.residentadvisor.net/profile/stoneowl

Injecting the hard, weathered soul, of the city of Detroit, into their huge rolling bass lines, deep harmonies, and body-jacking rhythms, Stone Owl claims a timeless sound all their own. They produce art that treads the border of techno and deep house, and has that dirty nastiness that you expect from Detroit. Jacob Greba and Eric Novak bring to the table monster production skills, and 2 entire lifetimes of live performing experience, easily setting them apart from the hordes of today’s fast-food DJ’s.
Eric Novak was the Programmer/ Bassist for the electro/ rock band “Bump” before Stone Owl. Novak is an artful devil on the bass, and a shamanic master of the Ableton arts. Always a techno head, with an obsession for producing, he just never was a DJ, until their egos dissolved and the two fireflies evolved into binary stars.
Jacob Greba aka. DJ SirReal, has spent most his life speaking the universal language of music, dancing in the eternal soundscape. His diverse resume includes turntablist/ percussion positions in the blues band, “Howling Diablos,” and also the hip-hop group “Artfull Dodgers,” playing Tuba in a wind ensemble, and being crowned 2008 Detroit’s Metro Time’s Club DJ of the Year. Greba has even appeared as percussion on “The Legacy of Sun Records: Good Rockin Tonight” album on London-Sire Records. Yet he can never escape the techno flowing in his veins.
Together they play like lunatic ninjas, grabbing at goldfish in a moonlit mountain lake. Producing music that tells a story, subsonic, melodic and provocative. Using sacred geometry and subconscious vibrations, they intend to raise the kundalini snake up your spine and give you a small glimpse into the future of Detroit.
Sharing the late night musical canvas with some of the scenes heavyweights last year, like Maceo Plex, Justin Martin, Robag Wruhme, and Kate Simko they intend to make 2012 even bigger. With an upcoming remix appearance on Deepchilds, Affin release in May they intend to kick off a massive year. They are poised for a huge release on Trapez Ltd. in July and another on Thoughtless Music in the fall. 2012 is the year of the Stone Owl.

#____ Product 19 ____#

http://soundcloud.com/product19

John Bromage, aka Product 19, became one of Pittsburgh’s most established underground dance music DJ’s and is currently establishing himself as a recognizable name in the U.K., Europe and beyond. Starting over 12 years ago, he has played with some of the biggest names in music ranging from Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Afrika Bambaata and Mixmaster Morris to Carl Cox, Umek, Chris Liberator, DJ Rush and Juan Atkins at some of the largest and highest quality parties in the US, Canada, England, Europe and Brazil. With major US residencies at The Matrix, Metropol, Club Laga, and Zythos, Product 19 is no stranger to playing for club crowds. He has performed at clubs and parties in cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, La Coruña, Krakow, Naples, Wroclaw, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, Cleveland, Washington DC, Detroit, Santiago, Sao Paolo, Curitiba and many more. In 1997, he was asked to compete in the “Battle of the DJ’s” at Buzz, which was based in Washington DC and the biggest club night in the US. In 2000, he travelled to the UK for a three week tour where he performed in London, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield, Devon, and Skegness. Since then, he was asked to return on numerous occasions and play again based on the audience response he received. He now lives in London. His musical style has ranged over the years from progressive to hard/acid trance to techno. Currently, Product 19 can be heard playing funky and edgy European-influenced techno at raves and larger clubs and funky techno, tribal, tech-house or minimal at smaller clubs and lounges.

He continues to pursue his interests in music production. During one of his early trips to England, he worked in the studio with DJ/producer Roland Deem aka Rowland the Bastard (Infected, Bionic Orange, Planet Rhythm, Smitten, Stay Up Forever). The studio session resulted in tracks released on his label, Infected Recordings. He worked with Ant (Powertools, Hydraulix, Stay Up Forever) for the track “Blue Black” on Chris Liberator’s label Maximum/Minimum. Most recently Product has released 4 tracks for the label BR 909 with Rhythm Logistics, Guy McAffer and Ant.
In addition to DJing and producing, Product 19 has been a music promoter since 1996. Initially, throwing small squat or renegade-style parties, he then founded House of Styles Productions LLC (HOS) in 1997. HOS was responsible for throwing some of the most memorable events in the Pittsburgh/Cleveland area history including the “Detergent Series” (Bounce, Dynamo, Biz, Cheer, Dawn, Joy, and Era). Era was the largest electronic music event in the region. HOS also threw the first all-techno event in Pittsburgh history, SubPhunc 27, with Phryl Productions from Toronto and hosted Liquid in Cleveland with ShortArm Productions. In 1999, HOS, in conjunction with Phryl, produced Integral in Pittsburgh. This was the first Plus 8-style party to be held outside the Detroit/Windsor area which exclusively featured Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva and other artists from Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 record label. Other events thrown were Proper featuring The Planet of the Drums Tour with Dieselboy, DJ Dara, and AK1200, Supreme which featured the Destiny Tour with Chris Liberator, Christopher Lawrence & OS/2, and Accelerate which hosted the Logical Progression Tour with LTJ Bukem, Nookie & MC Conrad and the Funky Techno Tribe Tour with DJ Sneak, DJ Dan & others. HOS also co-promoted the concert date for The Community Service Tour featuring live performances by Orbital, The Crystal Method, Lo Fidelity All-stars & a DJ set by John Kelley plus additional tours including Derrick May’s Transmat Tour and 2 Moonshine OverAmerica Tours featuring Carl Cox, DJ Dan, Cirrus, DJ Dara among others.

In terms of club promotion, Product 19 has been involved in some of the most ground breaking club nights in Pittsburgh and London. Starting in 1997, HOS along with 5 Star Productions, hosted Atomic at Metropol, one of the first club nights to steadily bring in the world’s top DJ’s and live acts consistently every week. It became one of the largest and longest running nights in Pittsburgh’s history. The diversity of styles and calibre of world-class talent presented ranged from internationally acclaimed DJs such as Carl Cox, Derrick May, Dave Angel, Eddie Richards & Mr.C to North American favourites Dieselboy, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, & DJ Icey. By becoming resident DJ, Product 19 was able to develop the ability to play different styles. Product 19 also hosted and resided at the 3 year+ running weekly, Electrasoul at Memphis Lounge/Zythos, which was the first all-techno based weekly. Styles featured ranged from tech-house, tribal, and tech-trance to hard techno and acid techno. Electrasoul also featured resident DJ’s Wrecked!, Ted Zelch, Colin Pierce, DVS, Frank Gambino and VJs Laboratory Type-0 from Japan.
In 2004, Product 19 became the promoter and resident DJ at London’s longest running techno night, The Nuclear Free Zone, the Liberator DJs’ monthly event. The club night has been running for over 12 years and features Aaron, Chris, & Julian Liberator as rotating residents with guest DJs from all over the world. He was the Sales & Merchandising Manager/Public Relations Assistant for the SUF Collective from 2004-2008 and is a resident DJ and freelance publicist for Family Groove International.

Currently, you can find Product 19 playing out across North America, South America, Europe and beyond including 2007’s massive 070707 Festival. You can also hear his radio show with guest hosts & DJs every Friday from 19:00-22:00 GBT (14:00-17:00 EST) on Montreal station Techno.FM. <~~~~~Acid Pimp~~~~~~~>

Tom Newman moves the crowd, fusing acid house
with pulsating techno into an intense rhythm that makes “I never knew
a DJ could make me dance like that” into Tom’s most often heard
compliment. Tom Newman is one of Detroit’s true legendary underground
artists. Most well known as Acid Pimp, Tom has been DJing and
producing music for almost 20 years, and continues to be at the
cutting edge of techno’s future.

Tom grew up surrounded by music, collecting records since the age of 6
from glam rock, to jazz, to new wave, and especially heavy metal.
Through frequenting Detroit’s industrial clubs in the late 1980′s, Tom
was lucky enough to experience the very beginning of Detroit techno
and Chicago acid house, and instantly became obsessed with this new
sound. By 1993 Tom had one of the best record collections in Detroit,
and was convinced by legendary promoter Jason Huvaere (Paxahau) to DJ
an event with Stacey Pullen at the now historic 1217 venue. By 1994
Tom was headlining shows at every major Detroit venue as Acid Pimp,
and had his first well received release with “Just Call Me Daddy” on
Cheshire, which was distributed exclusively through Dan Bell’s Seventh
City. By the late 1990′s Tom Newman was a major headliner throughout
the United States and Canada, and his consistent releases on Cheshire
became highly collectible. It was around this time that he helped
form D-records with Richie Hawtin, Rex Sepulveda, and Len Bartush as a
sub label of M-nus, on which Tom produced releases under the alias
Poker, and collaborated with Len on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre EP.
After the successful release of Poker’s Dance for Devil, D became
managed by Paxahau, of which Tom was more than a frequent DJ during
their pioneering first webcasts from Detroit.
Having the opportunity to perform at Tresor Berlin in 2001, Tom became
inspired to form Friction Detroit, that would surface as Detroit’s
first all techno club night, and Tom Newman’s first residency. Using
the well known venue The Works, Tom kept underground techno alive at a
transitional time in Detroit, and with the help of Chad Parraghi (DJ CFX) hosted an incredible roster of Techno’s most well known artists. In 2005, shortly after his 2nd
performance at Movement, Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival, Tom put
a temporary hold on performing to concentrate behind the scenes,
managing the main stage at DEMF since 2006. After a short break Tom
Newman returns with a weekly podcast at frictiondetroit.com, and a
full schedule of new releases on Frictiondetroit records. For bookings message the frictiondetroit fan page on facebook!

[NightSneak/ Hijacked Records/ Detroit,MI]

Augustus Williams, aka DJ Gusto, may not have had the most ideal childhood, but his story is a positive one with a promising future. Gusto has memories of his father listening to Marvin Gaye and old Motown records, but the music that spoke to him first was Hip Hop. By Junior High Gusto was spending much of his time listening to the radio, and taping shows of WJLB, this is where he first learned of artists like DJ Godfather, and DJ Assault. When he attended his first party in 1996 he did not yet know what Techno was, but validates that this was the event that would evidently shape the rest of his life.

From that point on Gusto’s interest in music grew into a passion, and that passion drove him to become a part of the music. He began DJing, focusing on electronic music evolving from his first love of Hip Hop, Electro, and Drum N’ Bass. At the age of 19 Gusto learned about “The Belleville Three” and found him self completely drawn to Techno. He started to play frequently at house parties, and at one of these parties he met a fellow DJ, Jesse James, and the two of them soon became close friends. This meeting and newly established friendship would provide Gusto with an opportunity to shine in his future, Jesse James and cousin James Woods would later become responsible for the “Nightsneak” parties, and Gusto soon became a local favorite.

Since then he has had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as; James Pennington, Mike Dearborn, Terrence Parker, Green Velvet, Frankie Bones and DJ Assault. After years of spinning records Gusto began to direct his energy through drum machines and sequencers, often combining those efforts for a no less than impressive show. Playing mostly live shows for the better part of the last 7 years, people often forget he started out as a DJ. In the studio his tracks are made with the DJ and the dance floor in mind, and he spends much of his time developing his own style. Years of determination posed yet another opportunity for him when Twonz the owner of Hijacked Records asked him to join the family. The rest is not history, but the future.

Suburban has the city of Detroit in his blood and the lessons of his life in his music. Suburban began to produce in 1997, and has been pushing himself to create music that is unique and can really make people feel the emotions he does when he puts his life to a beat. His journey began with a laptop and software and he hasn't moved backwards since. Utilizing dozens of different software programs in combination with hardware lends gives Suburban the ability to make wide varieties of sounds and precision in his tracks. Music is the most important thing to Dane because it fills something in him that he hasn't been able to find elsewhere and helps his soul calm and develop. Although he has played in countless Detroit venues, Suburban's dreams don't involve money or fame; he just hopes that he can give each audience member something individual to remember from the night they heard him perform. Suburban signed to Division X Records in 2007, however due to the recession that hit Detroit in 2007, he traveled south and found himself on a hiatus from the electronic music scene. Having recently moved back north, Suburban has rejoined forces with Division X and is currently working on upcoming releases and remixes. From the hard driving minimal, to the hard techno, Suburban plans on taking you for a late night ride.
