Tapering down your ritalin redoses to lessen the comedown

I had a lot of IR methylphenidate and I have been snorting and finishing uni assignments. I thought it might work like concerta, how it is released slowly and there is no comedown (even if I drop 2 or 3).

Does anyone know if this will work?

EDIT: Anyone with the slightest clue answer because I'm really not looking forward to this comedown. I should of got some benzos.

in the same spot, i feel like shit. Trying to curve my amphetamine withdrawals, i decided to check the med cabinet for stimulants of downers.... found some concerta... Fuck this shit, why do people like it?

I like it because I've never tried adderall :lol:

I use it because it speeds me up for work or study but the euphoria is mild (unless you snort it) and doctors hand it out like candy because they think it has 'low abuse potential'. It also makes me a talkative motherfucker which is kind of out of character for me. Concerta is nowhere near as good as IR in terms of euphoria because you can't snort it, what you can do is remove the time release and parachute it. It will wake you up but the euphoria is kind of underwhelming and the comedown is shit without benzos and weed.

After typing all that I realized you probably know it all but I felt like typing and procrastinating.

oh and I just remembered you can snort concerta after you take off the waxy layer and crush it very finely, as long as you don't feel like snorting anything for till tomorow cause it makes your nose runny with really sticky snot.

or just use the other nostril...

oh dude, i wish i was tweaking hard right now. It's been a good minute since i filled my addie prescription, when you fly, you wont even think of coming back down.
and it's so much better than ritilan... also i thought it would be easy to snort these concerta,

But these pills... aren't even fucking pills. It's like, you have to suck off the outer coating, because it contains methylphiate, somehow rip off the wax, and seperate the med from that grey sponge... never again.

i feel like i snorted a fucking glue stick.

You probably should have eaten it, the euphoria is better snorted but the duration is shit. I find the combination of shit duration and comedown worse than meth (for me) to make it not worth snorting, unless I have no other stims and kept putting shit off till the last minute. Also becuase I can't drop IR because I kept dropping concerta which is 36 mg per pill and IR is only 10 mg and they are the same price so my tolerance to dropping is like a minimum of 36 mg, where I only need to snort 20 mg to get a buzz.

i've parachuted a 54, and a 36 to which i'm coming down hard now. Been snorting bumps from a two 36's. My memory is bad but my doses have been something around there.
Previously in the week i was using focalin IR so my, so my tolerance is a bit high..

Sounds like a fun comedown, got any benzos?

I have parachuted 36 mg Concerta and snorted 60 mg IR, which I think is the most I've ever snorted in the few hours I did it in, I feel quite tweaked though but the euphoria is mostly gone and is slowly being replaced by anxiety. I have 2 more IR left and I'm thinking about slowly bumping them or should I just go hard and rail both of them in one line?

All I have is weed for this comedown and I don't think I'm ready. I hate how this shit is so fiendy (mostly when you snort it), out of every drug I've done it has to be the fiendiest. Maybe only out-fiended by New Zealand street E, only the ones that contain Cathinones like mephedrone (not anymore sadly :frown:) , 4-mec and MDPV.

I wish, i can't seem to hold onto any benzo's without, accidentally eating them.
not giving any dosage advice, but me personally, i would savor the IR to ease the comedown.
4-mmc has got to be the feindiest... but my DOC are amphetamines, so addies, and pure D-amp are what i crave.

Oh I know that not being able to hold onto benzos feeling, when you wake up there all gone and all you have to remember is a blur of a day.

woops I forgot about that rule, but I think I'll slowly finish of my assaingment with them. Ill try the taper method and see if it helps the comedown.

oh how twisted this lifestyle is... i needa get some studying done myself, but i'd rather do nothing.

I'm not sure it'll work with ritalin, but keep in mind the half life is only a couple of hours :feelsgoodman:

Well I crushed one and did one line (quarter), then another, then another, then another. Then I thought fuck it its 10pm at night now and I've been going since 12 and I want some sleep tongiht so I railed the other one. Im gunna go finish off my weed when the comedown starts, I have anxiety normally so this shit makes me ANXIOUS (I'm thinking about going to a doctor soon about the anxiety, but doctors make me start having panic attacks for some reason, :lol: I sound like a pussy), and weed sometimes makes it better and sometimes worse. Its algood though cause the bud I have atm has a heavy indica stone at the end of it, but I'm just worried about the more sativa like start. I'm happy I forced myself to eat cause that helps the anxiety on the comedown for some reason.

I just realised I have 36mg left but fuck that I'm not pulling an all nighter, I'll prob do it tomorow cause I only buy this shit everyonce in a while. Sucks that your addicted to amphetamine though, I have pretty good self control though (doesn't sound like it atm tho cause of this fiend shit). I know that feeling of addiction though, only smokes (I've quit now) and coffee though thankfully. I prob wouldn't be able to control myself with a script of adderall too, its sounds so nice.

eh, it's mostly psychological after the first week or two being off... but it's what i do, weeks on, weeks off. i would love a benzo script for my weeks off though.
Maybe i'm an addict, but i love it. :feelsgoodman:

Yeah thats thing about stimulants, they are just so fun you stop giving a fuck. And its sort of the opposite of how everyone views an addict, you get so over productive that its wierd and I become so happy on stims its scary, Ill start shouting people so much shit. I haven't been on a binge thats lasted more than a day/night though. I'm feeling the comedown but not that hard yet and my eyes are dialated (not saucer but still obvious) which means I've done way too much, its only been an hour though. About to go blaze and have a shower to relax.

Oh and to the comment before about the half life. The half life for this shit is so short but it keeps you up all night and thats what people use it for you only need 20 mg late at night to keep you awake all night, and you can drink soo much and not be sloppy drunk. You just stay buzzed and awake, I think it forms a new drug in the liver but I forgot what its called. I just realized I should drink that will stop the comedown if it gets bad.

be careful,tho. ritilan may be mild recreationally, but it's very similair to cocaine in structure, and alcohol can send ya into a negative head space while on either substance.

I never bother with methylphenidate unless I was drunk (forms ethylphenidate). Crappy stimulant. D-amp or racemic amphetamine is indeed the way to go!

Fuck alcohol on Ritalin, i drank like 9 glasses with no effects, but as soon as the ritalin wore off i felt drunk as hell.
