i used to hate on skrillex hard, but his productions are WY better now than they used to be, part of me has a hard time believeing its him actually producing this shit but whatever

saw him for the first time at a festival bout a month ago and damn he fucking murdered that place, mixed up a lot of genres and really just destroyed it

i still dont like him much and def wont ever go to one of his shows (cuz his fans suck so fucking bad) but if hes at a festival and nothing better is going on ill def check him out but hes def not high on my list

maybe if i wasnt rolling my face off id feel differently but honestly prob not

i think his newer stuff is pretty nice too, specially breakin a sweat and bangarang


but still skrillex as a person is a faggot, honestly i just think hes a face with a ghost-producer

Nice revival of the thread.

I actually like skrillex, saw him for the first time at a festival in Chile and he impressed me. He looked like he really was enoying himself and that is certainly contagious.

It felt more like a metal concert though, everyone was really crushing each other and jumping around like crazies. Fun times. :lol:

I found his set was weak at tomorrowland though, not many people seemed too into it in the mainstage.



He should do stuff like that more often in his shows.

Such tripe. Music for monkeys. Pop music is such a travesty. Takes the elements of original, thought provoking, inspiring underground music and morphs it into the same generic garbage that the majority of people seem completley content with. Only thing worse than Skrillex is his clueless, musically devoid fan base.

Don't like dubstep much myself, even when rolling.

You just can't dance to most of it it seems, theres nothing worse than a buddy throwing on a dubstep track driving somewhere sober. :facepalm:

it's just not for me

I do however love good techno and electronic music as long as it's danceable too.

Skrillex is probably the gayest DJ I've ever seen before in my entire life.  Only reason I saw him was because he went on before the biscuits, and he also single handedly ruined camp bisco.  I guess people like what they like though, but skrillex is fucking gay.

Skrillex DEFINITELY hands down brings the worst fans to camp.  If anything says you don't know jack about music its saying you love skrillex.  All I do is throw my head back and laugh in their face.  Like a boss.

Well the Biscuits are the ones who invited Skrillex though, so to be fair I think the biscuits ruined camp bisco.  I'm not coming back to that festival unless they stop inviting gay acts.

I believe by that time disco had turned over almost complete control over the lineup to the production company.  They now just make sure their pets are there like abakus.  Sure, they might be able to stop him from coming though.  I wouldn't if I was disco.  Skrillex = bux and disco like never tours anymore.
