I wasn't really upset, I was pretty calm about it. 

He was going way too fast anyway.  But like I said in my OP I could not get too mad at him because I did have part of the responsibility in that.

And it was just the disgusting way in which he did it - he was zooming forward and he turned his head at a complete 90 degree angle, taking his eyes off the road just to give me a facial expression of pure hatred.


You coulda killed the guy.  You had ALL of the responsibility in that.  It's not your place to decide if he's driving "too fast," but it is your responsibility to pay attention and not run a red light.  "comes out of nowhere" = I wasn't paying any attention to the road.

I knew I would get responses like that, but no it was 11:30 at night and it was pretty dark.  And he was going really fast.

It was dark, even more reason to pay more attention AND NOT RUN A FUCKING RED LIGHT.
If you caused a wreck and told the cops your story, you'd get a ticket and be found fully at fault.

It's probably true that the real asshole in the story is likely the guy who was too impatient to wait at a red light, almost causing a serious wreck.

No, you weren't there man...I understand the whole appeal to bashing someone and making them sound like an incompetent moron to make you feel better about yourself but if you had actually witnessed the degree to which he was speeding (he was going VERY fast) then you would be more qualified to make conclusions about this situation.

I understand I should not have run a red light and I have taken responsibility for that...but if you are riding a motorcycle you should not be going that fast unless you are riding on a freeway in the middle of the day with no cars or animals in sight.

I like to keep a couple of spark plugs in my pocket when I ride. Anybody tries to fuck around, and I toss them plugs right over my shoulder.

My buddy kicked off this asshole's side view mirror at highway speed! You should've seen the driver's face :laugh2:

I'm not usually an asshole when I ride, but seeing a fast bike sure seems to bring out the stupid in a lot of drivers.

I've also heard of dudes using a roll of pennies.  Just open it up over your shoulder and let 100 pennies go flying behind you :lol:
