Lobster mushroom = Hypomyces lactifluorum colonized. This is a fungus which parasitizes another mushroom, typically Russula or Lactarius in North America. It turns that mushroom red, like a lobster. But I have no experience in trying to cultivate it.

NO atr its the Hypomyces lactifluorum. Have a friend who seems to have one in his backyard want to know how to get spores and cultivate

Oh, ok, I thought it was H.e. because it taste a little like lobster :laugh:
however, I already saw it, but I guess that cultivating a parasitic mushroom that grows over mycorrhizal species would be extremely difficult and unfeasible :crazy:
