Weird Phobia's

first off im arachnophobic, thats no so weird..

im also very very Glass-phobic. when i tell people this they laugh but its true. im like a Magnet for broken glass
you could break a glass 10 feet from me and i will end up getting it stuck in my skin. i also had a piece of glass get into my eye before and thats what really did it. so NOOOOOOOO crystal wine glasses for me, i'll take the sippy cup :cool:

i have this weird thing with Mirrors as well. i cant sleep in a room with a mirror and if i have to i will turn it to face the wall. if i dont and the mirror is facing me i get intense nightmares. i did it a few times on purpose just to prove it and its true i had nightmares.

i also cant face one Mirror into another where you can see reflections of reflections of reflections, it is a muslim "superstition" instilled from my mum since i was a child that doing so will open a portal to the ǧinn, an invisible being of fire.

last but not least i have this thing with Doors. every door in my house has to be closed at all times. i cant even sleep in a room with the closet door open. windows can be open, but they all must be closed before i go to bed. good thing i have central air.

Seriously though just touched down from a plane ride about an hour ago... Not really that scared but I swear I always get paranoid and thunk about ways the plane could go down or malfunction or blah blah. Not fun. But it does help me just go to sleep

Technically, a phobia means you will avoid something AT ALL COSTS, even if it hurts you and others around you. I never met anyone with a true phobia.
