whats the longest you've driven to goto a show?

today a couple friends and i are driving 6 hours for a show in windsor. we were going to a closer one yesterday but we missed it by 30 god damn minutes. so today, same bands + another awesome bands first show since they broke up 2 years ago (id list them, but unless your into hxc, you'd have no idea who im talking about) anyways, how long have you crazy kids driven to get to a show?

28 hours and I'm about to do it again in a week. Northern Iowa to Tennessee for bonnaroooskiii yeah, another week and it's on, I'll start my trek.

I'm w/ Adom on this one. Me and my buddies drove an old ass RV from central Iowa to Tennesee for Bonnaroo last year. Took about 26 hours

i could really care less wtf you wanna call it, but i saw a day late hero, terror, most precious blood and walls of jerichos first show in a couple years. bane was supposed to play too but when we got to the show, there was a sign up on the door that read 'bane broke up...maybe'
and damn, i thought a 6 hour car ride was long enough, but 26-28hrs! damn!

I would have to say Miami to Seattle. The Dead would do an east coast tour then a week later a west coast tour or vice versa. They would start around Boston and work there way down to Miami then a week later start in Seattle and work there way down that coast. I did that once ,but many times have driven from San Francisco to New York. Then I discovered how freakin cool airplanes are. A week in a Volkswagon van with 5 other grungy hippies gets old fast. :grin:

id have to say from east coast spring tour grateful dead in florida, to Jerry band at the warfield in the bay area, scary trip, i lost my kids and got stuck with this psycho chick and ended up missin the first weekend, but we made it!a

Little over a 100 miles from Jacksonville to Orlando to go to the Van's Warped Tour (shut up,I was young at the time).

I've flown 800 miles to a show,but this is a thread about driving....

Longest for me was about 20 hours or so from a Dead show in Va. to upstate NY for a show the next day.

Roughly 1400 miles: Montana to Chicago to see mdfmk. But i had just graduated HS and my buddy and I wanted to see Chicago anyway.

argh! i want to goto hellfest so bad! but i doubt ill go, ny is quite the trip from where i live, and i dont drive because im already deathly afraid of cars (long story, dont ask) and yes, its good to see other hardcore kids here, i didnt think there were any.
but i like tough guy hardcore, atleast some of it, some of it just blows though.

Well...I'm driving 4 days for the Dead at Red Rocks and making numerous 20 hour drives for Phish @ Alpine Valley and IT this summer...road trip yayayayaya!!!
