Drug tourism, visiting mexican border towns

I was thinking about a trip across the border late this summer. Either to Juarez or Tijuana. I want to get both pharmacutical drugs and possibly illicit drugs. Anyone know about the ease with which prescriptions for oxycodone and high quality cocaine can be purchased? What are the dangers of cartel violence. Obviously I'd be off the streets at night, I think.

Hahahahahahaha dude, not trolling, but don't go down to Juarez and ask around for cocaine. Obviously I know you're not stupid enough to just ask every dude you see, but you would just get robbed or kidnapped.

That's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard but if you got away with it without getting robbed, killed, or kidnapped and made it back to the 'States without getting arrested that would be an epic story.
If you're a gringo in Mexico, you have a much higher likelihood of getting robbed, kidnapped and held for ransom, or just straight up killed.  If you're a gringo looking for drugs, well, you're fucked dude.  The pharmaceuticals should be easy to get in MX without prescription but the cocaine you're better off trying to get in the 'States.

I was thinking more along the lines of asking cab drivers and the hotel desk guy for legit connects. I think I could get in a bad situation in dark alleys like that. Anyone done this?

It seems like a good idea to me. I heard you can get an oz of 85% coke for $200 south of the border. I was thinking it would be well worth it to use my rectum to smuggle the coke and declare the scripts at customs and repeat every day for a week. There could be a lot of easy money made if it worked out.

Pharms should be easy. Just go to any pharmacy. I advise you to cross the border with an AUTHENTIC Mexican. AUTHENTIC means that he speaks Spanish fluently, has a Mexican name, looks Mexican, etc. He will be your key into getting drugs. Don't worry, plenty of drug dealers will just come up to you since you look gringo, but they will rip you off and/or rob you. So, have a trusty Mexican, a friendly face to the public. You'll still get ripped off probably, but at least the drugs will probably be real and the price will be substantially better.


How do I know all of this? My sister lived in San Diego and right by the border.

The cartel wants to make money and sell dope. How could it benefit them to torture you instead of rob you or sell to you. That makes no sense.

Don't listen to these people. You won't get kidnapped or slaughtered like a pig. Just don't go to Tijuana or Juarez. And make sure you go with someone who speaks Spanish.

This will help you get a sense of what's really going on down there. As you can see, there are cities that are getting worse and some that are getting better. But, honestly, most if not all the border towns are going to be riddled with sketchy people.

you're asking for a fuckload of problems, my brother's wife is mexican and
none of her family is willing to go to mexico, they advise everyone to stay
away unless it's a trip to cancun or some shit, the border towns are pretty
bad right now especially juarez. if you're lucky you'll jest get robbed

I live not to far from Reynosa and all I gotta say is reconsider your decision, the action of going to northern mexico (especially Juarez like WTF?) would be extremely hazordous to your health and safety. There's people who gone to Reynosa just for dental care and they never came back. Disappeared, poof like magic. You risk being kidnapped by and killed by the cartel or the mexican army. Being an american there you will attract attention like flies on shit, and la mafia won't take kindly to anyone (they precieve) believe is smuggling drugs without their blessing.
