almost 20 years ago I went to cancun, went to a non tourist area, the
difference was night and day, the chick I was with looked close enough to a
latina that we wouldnt get fucked with immediately but she got scared as fuck
and insisted we stop at a police station for directions, we walked into the
parking lot and there was a car there that the drivers side was riddled with
bullet holes, hundreds of bullet holes. got inside and the walls behind the
counter was covered in machine guns, at that point I realized that the
mexican cops do not fuck around

most of the cops on the street at that time were armed like this and it was cancun
