another data breach about my undergrad

Soooo... I wake up to ANOTHER data breach from my undergrad.  This is like the third one in 2 years.  I told them to delete my sensitive information last time and they refused.  This time, they offered to pay for a year of Experian which is generous but I would rather not have to get Experian to cover their constant fuckups.  God damnit.

It's this data monitoring company that will monitor your shit for like 15 bucks a month or something.  Basically, if someone tries to open up accounts or take out a loan or whatever with your info, experian will instantly alert you and refund the damages, if any.

Who knows.  All they ever say is that my data "may have been compromised."  It would be helpful if they said "your shit just got fuckin jacked" so I would know to be more proactive in making sure no one was setting up renegade accounts in my name.
