If you go to the source, then there is a whole lot of money to be made.  For instance, good weed in my region of the U.S. (southeast) goes for 60 and 1/8 or 20 a gram.  The people who sell ounces around here get away with robbery.  I have seen kids buy zips of bud for 420 bucks.  Literally have to push grams so they can smoke an eighth.  So lets say someone had a friend out in california that could get him a couple pounds for 6k or something.  Twice a month, said individual could front qp's at 350 an ounce and to 4 different people in college towns and make a steady $10,400.  That's $124,800 a year.

Easy right?


Wrong.  I used to deal and it was some of the worst shit I have ever done in my life.  I did the same sort of scheme with bars it just turned into an utter shit show.  I made about 50k one year but it wasn't worth it and I don't have shit to show for it now.  Tons of friends died and ended up in jail.  Fuck that shit.  I was the only one in our crew who didn't get in trouble besides the ones who snitched.

It can be done successfully if a person is very cautious and stays focused on eliminating the greed and keeping it smart.  Plus you have to be lucky that you don't get snitched on.  The further up the chain you are, the less chance you have of getting caught.  Too bad 99% of dealers aren't far up the chain.

Not worth it IMO.  I just work a regular job.

Both sides are working hard for the same cause. They just pretend to stand for something, which is always contrasting to the other.

One thing they can agree on, is that there's just way too much money to be had taking bribes from drug cartels to keep their business profitable.
