Vedic Astrology readings for free by me * 1

I'm offering all of you who read this a free vedic astrology reading (Jyotish) for anyone that is interested. I was trained in reading charts as a monk, and have continued to do readings for friends and family. I'm only reading what the planets say, I don't claim to be a psychic. Also I am not a professional, and I do not do this for a living.

I am interested in furthering my knowledge about it, by reading others charts and becoming more accurate. I don't even necessarily take this very seriously, but for some reason I cannot deny the fact that a lot of what is in a persons charts come out to be fairly accurate information.

I did a reading for a user on here named Pachoo. She can verify, that I am legit.

If you're interested, just PM your birth date, birth time, and place of birth. The birth time is very important and it must be accurate. Along with an email in which I can send the word file to. It will probably be about 3 pages long of information, which will be a combination of my interpretations and analysis along with various chosen pieces of texts from sources and other astrologers.

If you have any specific questions you'd like me to answer, I will. Pertaining to any life topic, relationships, spouse, children, money, career path, addictions, etc.

It will take me a few days to finish someones chart, so please be patient if you're interested.

It's an acquired skill that I developed before I threw any beliefs out the window. Just like a job skill you have to develop, doesn't mean it's a belief of mine. I'm doing it because I know some people are interested in it.

I'm certainly interested in a reading, however I don't have the exact time I was born at the moment. I will get it when I have the chance though.

What I'm more interested in is the process itself. How does this work? What are your ideas on the subject of it? Is it literally just a book that tells you what to say, or is it more complex than that? I'm pretty interested.

Well, western astrology is based off of the tropical system. It's emphasis and certain calculations are based off of the sun. Where as vedic astrology uses the sidereal system, and some of its calculation place more emphasis and importance on the moon.

For instance, most horoscopes you read in the newspaper or online are only based on one placement in your natal chart. Just the sun's sign, not even the house placement. I'm trying to read your entire chart, where all the planets are and the house placements.

Vedic astrology has more emphasis on the moon sign. Moon shows the qualities of the persons mind. Where as the sun manifests in a persons life in a more subtle way and has the overall theme in a persons life.

The problem with the tropical system, is due to european scholars who thought the zero point of aries never moved. But it does, and that throws a huge wrench into the system. Sidereal system takes this into consideration. There are some placements in your western chart that may remain the same in your vedic chart. But because of this mistake in the tropical system it usually throws everything off by one sign. For instance, in western someone may have a scorpio sun sign, but in vedic they are now a libra sun sign. Usually just the signs change, some of the house placements are the same, but some will change also. For instance I have saturn in the 5th house in both my western and vedic charts.

In fact, even astronomers use the sidereal system because of that mistake in the tropical one. Why don't most western astrologers switch over? Mostly due to stubbornness. There have been some western astrologers who have made the move to that correct zodiac placements.

My western astrology chart makes no sense, but my vedic fits me well.

All astrologers use programs to do the calculations otherwise it would take forever. So I use a program to view your chart. I've read many books and studied vedic astrology. I don't just type what a book tells me. I do use some copy and paste pieces of text along with my own interpretations and analysis to emphasis a point. Most programs or readings in books cannot read a chart in it's entirety. There are only individual details that they pick out. An astrologers job is to be able to read a chart as an overview and be able to see what applies and what doesn't.

Having Sun debilitated in libra in the 9th house, conjunct other planets like saturn being aspected by Mars. With the 6th,8th or 12th lord in the 9th house. I would see this as the persons father most likely died, lived a short life or was absent in there life. I'd have to look into other divisional charts. Which are smaller charts that go into detail about a house in the natal chart to find more information to my conclusions. This will tell me a lot more than a book or a program can,  that only tells me what sun in libra means or what just sun in the 9th house means but leaves out all of the other details. Know what I mean? It's my job to piece it all together like a puzzle, drop what doesn't apply and insert my own interpretations to what I think does apply.

Another example. 5th house shows children, and saturn is a cold, restricting planet. Having saturn in the 5th house doesn't necessary mean the person will not have children. If there's another planet in the 5th house or its placed in a beneficial sign. And there are other planets aspecting it, and its lord is placed in a good house or an auspicious house is placed in the 5th house. Then for sure they will have children, if everything adds up.

However in my chart, I have saturn in the 5th house with its lord being mars. With the 8th house of destruction/death/transformation lord placed in the 5th house. Along with the 5th house lord being placed in the 12th house, which is another death house. I look at my saptamsha, which is the divisional chart showing children. And the ascendant is cancer, with mars being debilitated in the first house of cancer. Which is not good. Most likely I will not have children or my first child will have something wrong with it or die.

One more example, having the 12th house lord in the 1st house. Can sometimes show imprisonment. If none of these lords are debilitated in any way and if the lord isn't saturn. Then I'm almost positive that imprisonment doesn't apply to this person. However if there are negative placements, then I can say most likely they will be imprisoned at one point or have been in the past. I may be able to confirm this with the vimshottari time line.

I will include individual interpretations in the chart, but I will also go into more detail. Some people's charts are easier to read than others, the details scream out at you. Where as some people's are more subtle and difficult to see exactly what's going on. But most of the time the information there seems to be accurate from what people have told me. I know my chart is quite accurate.

Another huge difference in vedic compared to western is the Vimshottari Dasha. Western astrology does not have this. Which is a 120 year timeline starting from when you were born. It shows the planets that are dominant in your chart for a specific time period. For instance, I entered a major Venus period in late 2004. Right when that started I started getting heavily into psychedelics. That venus period lasts for 20 years. So I'll be in it until I'm 37. To find out how this applies to me. I'd have to look at what houses in my chart are ruled by Venus, so I'd find libra, and taurus. Libra rules my 4th house, and taurus my 11th house. Then find where Venus is in my chart, its in the 10th house. This will give me a lot of accurate information concerning events that will happen in the Venus period. It would be totally different, if say they were ruling the 1st, 6th houses and it was placed in the 12th house.

But then there are smaller periods within that Major Venus period, called Antardasha's. These usually last about a year or so depending on what planet period you're in. For instance I'm in Venus/Rahu right now. Rahu is the moons north node. I'd look to where that is in my chart, and find out more detail information for the events that might take place in the next year or so.

Plus on top of all that, I'd have to look at transits. More specifically saturn and the moons nodes rahu/ketu. Since these planets/nodes move the slowest, and take about 2.5 years or so to move through houses. This will show a strong indicator of will happen in those years. Where planets like the sun move almost monthly. Therefore not as important.

In terms of spouse or significant other. It's best if I had both charts. Almost always when The males natal chart, matches the females Navamsha chart and vice versa it shows a very important relationship in both of their lifes or even more, a possible marriage partner. To see this, you want to make sure that the males chart, has his moon or rahu/ketu or jupiter in some way matching the sign's or house placements in her navamsha chart.

Then I can look to see when rahu/ketu will be transiting their navamsha 1/7th house axis, moon or nodes and most likely if it matches up with the Vimshottari timeline. There's a good indicator that period will bring marriage. No program or book can do this for me, I'd have to do it all manually.

This same technique can be applied to career, children, death of parent/sibling, fame, winning large sums of money, disaster periods in ones life, etc. There are divisional charts for many topics. But it's not always easy. Spouse, children, and career are much easier to pin point, with career being the most difficult of the 3.

There are thousands of combinations and so many aspects in vedic astrology. I'm not going to be able to get every single one, I'd have to spend weeks on someones chart to do that. Even doing a persons chart on here, takes me about 4 hours to do it. To try and cover as much ground as possible. Even then I'm not fully satisfied with what I've put down. I wish I had more time to spend on an individuals chart. But since I have more people interested than I thought, I can't spend forever on it.

I think I covered mostly what I wanted. If you have any more questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

Again, I'm knowledgeable about it. But I am not a professional astrologer. I have a lot of room for improvement and becoming more accurate/detailed. But by reading people's charts on here, it helps me to become efficient at that. I'm used to reading people's charts in my head, and not actually writing it all out. It's a much different process putting everything into words.

Wow, cool stuff man. Very thorough. :thumbup: I was not aware of the differences between Western and Vedic astrology. I've read that reading charts needs to be partly intuitive, knowing what points to emphasize and what combinations to highlight.

That is awesome man. Thanks for that write up. The differences between the western astrological calendar and the vedic one are very interesting. I've always felt that there was something wrong with the western calendars that just doesn't feel right. You've got me interested in looking into the subject deeper. It brings my philosophy on the subject to new light. Thank you.

I have always been really curious about why when there are intellectual pursuits which actually have significance why some people waste their entire lives studying archiac shit which will never yield anything of value.

I have heard all the arguments but my sister is an astrologer and she couldn't predict jack. I have known many jyotishis.  I was part of a community of hundreds of meditators of which many of them developed the first jyotish software.

My point is, why waste your life?  I am talking to the OP.

It's just that it is bullshit. If someone likes picking their nose because it makes them feel good we do not allow it.

At the outset astrology lack specific quality or quantity for prediction.  We say, oh one astrologer is intuuitive and accurate and another isn't. Fact is, there can be no accuracy ever under any circumstance because if a person's own intuition isn't working for them nobody can live their life and fix it for them.

It's really mental masturbation. Hey, I masturbate so I can't cross examine the OP if he likes mental masterbation. I just want him to understand he's a jackoff.

I don't care what the rest of the woowoo world says in support. It's a big fucking mental circlejerk.

My real point is that a person could be suing their mind to pursue a musical instrument, arts of love, invention or a whole bunch of things which aren't mental masturbation.

About this dude? Or about this, Dude?  I am not worked up about this dude. I am not really worked up in spite of the strident tenor of my hen and pecking. I spent a long long time studying the mystical and magical and have found some experiences and answers. I get a bit frustrated seeing other people chase their tails like I once did though, because for the most part the most spiritual answers I ever found were the most boring and mundane.

You know Icelander, it gets harder and harder to reach people!  I mean even in the work situation. For instance I am a chef. It uszed to be people aspired to learn the routines and methods for becoming a good cook. But now every wanker straight out of culinary junior college knows every fucking recipe ever invented, all from their grandmothers. Forget training. If you tell people to chop holding the knife against the flat of the knuckles at a slight angle away from the body, you come back and they're picking their ear with a chef's knife in front of a swinging door.  (real situ)

That's what studying astrology is. Picking your ear with a chef's knife in front of a swinging door.  Not as dangerous you say?  Fact is, death is rushing towards us all. Each thing you choose to spend your mind on is draining your resources.  Ecologically speaking resources are limited.

I am imploring the OP to use their mind in a way which is advantageous.  I am trying to give solid advice.  But nobody will hear until - what? They stab their ear and then it will be to late for them to hear anything.

The only problem with your little rant is you expect us to believe that you know what is important and what is not. What drains your resources and what does not. What is advantageous and what is not. (just like dozens of others here)  And the plain truth is you don't.  You are guessing and speaking for yourself.

Haha, haven't logged in for a long time. Thanks for your input Eve.

I did a good amount of reports on here for a short amount of time, but I got burnt out long ago. I'm no longer doing them. It was just something I did for fun and thought others would find interesting. By no means was I saying astrology is some holy grail. Nor was it a focus of my life. Far from it. In fact you may find it surprising that even I do not take it seriously.

It shows the body/minds constitution in this current incarnation. I don't see anything spiritually liberating about it. In fact its just a practical guideline. Who you are is beyond any thought/interpretation or constitution.
