so i come to you today looking for help.



today while i was in class..... i realised that there was a great opportunity to be taken advantage of. basically, this class i'm in is trialing a new way of teaching the subject, which involves live recording and linking into the lectures in real time. so you can participate in the lecture from home and stuff.


the kicker is that, to connect from home, you have to link your webcam into the system to log in. or the program connects to your webcam when you log in or something. anyway, what you can actually do is open your webcam onto the screen, which is projected massively in real time on the wall infront of the whole class............. :grin:







so i come to you asking for ideas. lend me your brain. what is something funny i can play up on the screen/my webcam to generate mass lulz???






keep in mind it can't be too messed up because 1/ it has my name shown on the webcam stream....and i log in via my name, so people will know it was my account and if the university investigates it , they will realise it was me (or my account). and 2/ because i'm studying law, i can't really do anything too out of the norm, because it may come back to bite me in the ass when i apply for admission.

Have the web cam turn on all the sudden but pretend not to realize it's on.
You could be dressed in women's clothing or dancing with a blow-up doll.
Wear a light shade of lipstick and see if anyone notices.

like as in we have a big projector that projects the lecture slides and all that onto the wall thats directly infront of a class of like ~50-60 people.  and using this 'live access' program, you can open up your webcam directly onto the projected screen that is infront of the whole class, like it will just pop up instantly with the persons webcam at about 1/6th size of the screen.

well thats actually how we found out about it, some dude logged in from home and his webcam showed up on screen without him knowing. i don't think it plays audio though, just the video stream of the webcam. good idea though, i'll keep it in mind.

I would guess the teacher would have audio but the students wouldn't. That way there would be no interruptions.
