Some of the kids in OTD were bored the other night, and couldn't sleep, so I told them this little story. Unfortunately, the thread got massively whored-up, so I'm posting it here instead... 
This is something that happened at a shroomerite gathering a few years ago. One night Thor, Anno, and 3D, where driving from the gathering and they were tr1pp1ng b4llz, so they decided to pull over and explore the desert terrain outside. This happened in the Southwest so there were plenty of interesting cacti and strange rock formations. Good stuff to trip on.
Anyway, they pulled the VW Micro Bus over, and just before they got out of the car, there was a breaking news report, so the stayed in the car to listen to the report. There had been an escape from the local asylum for the criminally insane. It seemed that a deranged killer had escaped -- an insane madman named Paul "The Hook" Fitzgerald had been convicted of murdering several dozen people along Route 66 in the early nineties, and had been found criminally insane and sentenced for life. The description on the radio said that stood 6'3", weighed 220 lbs, and had a large scar across his left cheek, but his most distinguishing characteristic was that he had a sharpened metal hook, where his left hand should be...
Anno and 3D still wanted to go outside and explore the desert-scape outside, but Thor was cautious. He said they should return to the campsite where the gathering was, and see if the other Shroomerites were alright. They debated this issue back and forth for a long time, when suddenly 3D heard a metallic scraping sound outside.
Now these sorts of events can really the alter the vibe of a heavy mushroom trip, and now even Anno was starting to get a little freaked. Fear and paranoia spread through the car suddenly, like an electrical storm, and the air became charged with the crackle of adrenaline.
The metallic scrapping sound was heard again. This time even louder than before. Like it was right outside the car in the mysterious darkness. Suddenly, Anno turned the ignition key and took off!
It took them several hours to get back to the campsite, and when they arrived the other Shroomerites came up to the car, but Thor, Anno, and 3D could tell that these people where white as ghosts! When they got out of the car, they asked what was wrong, and Little_Shroom couldn't say a word, she just pointed to the car door...
For you see, when they turned around to look where she pointed, there was a bloody hook hanging from the door!

Good story, I first came across that same story (sans Shroomites), called The Hook, in Stephen King's book entitled Danse Macabre. King said it was the quintessential horror story.

That sounds way too much like one of those scary stories we were told when we were kids. They're supposted to be scary but just too unimaginable to believe. But I believe this one. That's so freaky though.

One night my dad was driving home really late at night in the middle of no where and there was a bridge going over the road he was on and he said he saw some freaky looking girl standing on the bridge looking over the railing and right before he got under the bridge a bunch of goo dripped onto his windsheild....idk the importance of this but it was just weird. Cause he was like really in the middle of no where, and no body lived near there.
