Indeed.....You can get more food with actual NUTRITION with a rice and beans diet. Maybe throw in an apple or two and your golden. Definitely buy a multivitamin though

Fortunately, I'm not having money issues right now, but I still loves me some .29c Ramen.

In fact, If I had to choose between Ramen and steak, I'd really have to think about it long and hard.

If it was lower in fat and had no MSG, it would be the worlds perfect food. I CRAVE IT!!

If it wasn't for the fact that I had an OD of ramen noodles back in college, I'd actually wish I could live of ramen noodles.

I loved them so fucking much.

College made me OD on ramen noodle, pizza pockets and chicken fingers.

I doubt I'm ever gonna eat these things again.

Make your own. That solves the MSG problem.
I've never understood why the Chinese think every food needs to contain MSG for it to taste good.

There are lots of ways to eat cheap but good. Often you just have to take your time to prepare it or be creative when buying food.

Yeah, I've been eating Top Ramen everyday which is more expensive but I got a shit load from Sams Club or Costco can't remember.

Please don't eat mostly ramen noodles everyday, those things are terrible for long term nutrition. I eat them once and a while myself but they can cause some major issues if you don't get some "real" food with vitamins and minerals.

yea, i have eaten so much ramen in my life, im honestly just sick of it.

after even just a few days of only ramen, i dont care how much you eat your still "hungry", not in the typical sense, but you can tell your in need of something else.

someone above mentioned MSG, ive recently noticed alot of products claiming to have no MSG actually have Disodiumglutamate (DMSG?) instead. Anyone know whats up with that? is it just as bad? :stars:

Yeah, rice and beans seems pretty filling in comparison to ramen... I could eat the whole pack and then proceed to eat a 3-course meal. Oh, and it's not 200 calories... it's "2 servings" thus 1 bowl is actually 400 calories... that could be messing up your diet if you browse pass nutritional information.


And man, instead of a ramen noodle every night budget, try on a room-mate budget on for size in which you have enough left over to eat out every day (if you want, that is)
