Dude I went and saw Lotus the night before last at the Congress, shit was so fuckin psychadelically awesome and I had never even heard of them before the show. Lead singer shot laser-beams out of his mouth during a guitar solo climax so raw it made me bust rainbows in my pants

youre prolly talking about jessie the bass player (center stage). you got treated to quite the set. spiritualize and sunrain are like my faves! and they did zelda for an encore song if i remember coreectly.

i saw them wed and they were sweet. lost their sound for a min when they went to a 4 piece band. but they got it back.

wish i could reply to more than 1 at a time but it was emancipator lotus and conspirator in chi town.

lotus did make me cry back in 2/25/10 in royal oak.

LySergic D -- talked with the independent recorder before the show and he said he will probably throw it on archive sometime.

that show rocked my socks. them being a 5piece again makes them sound so much better IMO

last time i saw lotus is was the day before halloween and TBH it wasnt the best show of theres ive ever seen(seen lotus about 5-7 times) but i guess everyone has a off day :shrug:

And yes that show rocked my socks too. I was up front right on the gate in front of Luke Miller.
I also got a free ticket to the Big Gigantic show on Saturday.
