 Which strain gives mellowest/mildest trip?

Which cubensis strain would you recommend for a nice mellow trip to the other side? AFOAF want's to grow a nice mellow strain for personal use-you know, some nice visuals and stuff, but doesn't want to go to the 4th dimension. What strain would you recommend??

Intensity depends more on dose. I have never had a bad trip with ecuadors.

Definetly Mazatapec. It's gives a very pleasant trip, doesn't seem as speedy as other strains. And I haven't experienced any mindfuck from them. However I have yet to eat over 3 grams of them.

just do a low dose (2 grams) of any strain and you should have a very mild pleasant trip with maybe some color and depth distortion...if you wanna kick the trip up a level some some REEFAH!!!

I ate about 6 grams of equador and tripped the hardest I ever have on mushies. I couldn't stand up, the dizziness was too much, I couldn't sit down, the dizziness was too much. Reason why I was dizzy, lack of bud. I've came to a conclusion that some bud will calm your stomach if doing bad, and cause dizziness to disappear. Uhh, dose determines mellowness.

Agreed. Dose does determin the strength or mellowness of a trip. All shrooms have the same active compounds and I have had many different strains of shroom. Wild, PF classic, EQ, Acadian Coast, Maztapac, and B+.

You said "all shrooms" and that could include all species of mushrooms.
You might have been thinking of P. Cubensis...and that wouldn't be true either.
There are about twenty isolated alkaloids that are reflections of the original Tryptophan precursors in psilocybe mushrooms. That is not counting the enzymes within the mushrooms that cause the bluing effect and the oxidisation of these active alkaloids. Many of these are very similar to psilocybin and psilocin - such as baeocystis and nor-baeocystis althought these two are actually misnomers and not really seperate alkaloids in the way that a Biochemist would explain it.
There are studies by Stivje and De Meijer, Bigwood and Beug and Gartz that indicate that the levels of psilocybin and psilocin as well as related alkaloids vary considerably not only between spore races but also between flushes.
Gartz found in a specimen of Panaeolus Cyanescens .7% Psilocybin, .04% psilocin, .01% baeocystis, 0.03% unconverted L-tryptophan, .06% 5-OH-tryptophan and 0.02% serotonin. And these were the only alkaloids he was testing for.

4 grams of maz made me lose my mind defitintly one of the hardest trips i ever had. I think its all about dosage.

This statement couldn't be anymore false. I would imagine your just guessing that they are all the same. Eat 2 grams of pf classic and then eat 2 grams of maz. Then come back here and tell me there is no difference.

There may be a difference in potency, but if you adjust each strain for potency then the effects will be the same. The differences between PF Classic and Maz are likely just different amounts of psilocin/psilocybin
I don't disagree or agree with that statement, but I think that's what he's trying to say.
