Bupropion and Shrooms? * 1

I have been taking Bupropion for about 3 weeks. I'm getting my hands on shrooms tonight, in which I will take tomorrow morning. I know it's not typically a "bright idea" but this is a once in a blue moon chance, and I want to get it out of my system already. (After 3 years of searching for them)

  Will it lessen the effects of the shrooms? I'm taking 150 MG. And I'm getting an 8th of the shrooms. It's my first time. Will it effect the trip experience?

Also, one more question. I'm taking them first thing in the morning. Should I eat solid foods before or after? Or eat them on an empty stomach? Or should I stick to light foods such as fruit and such?

I'd personally eat a light breakfast or something along those lines before dosing.. The best trip of my life and my only serious "break threw" happened on an extremely full stomach.. I believe I was in the midst of an intense digestion when I ate about 50 wet grams of Penis Envy..


I started to experience visuals in less than 20 minutes which is absolutely insane considering I've had some trips take almost 2 hours to kick in.




Also Cubensis  Mushrooms generally aren't to easy on your stomach.. So having something else in there with them would probably help out when it comes to any nausea or upset stomach.. 


Wild Cubensis are almost always pretty rough on my stomach personally.. And so we're the homegrown PE I ingested the night I broke threw.




As far as the Bupropion I have no clue.

I don't honestly think it would create any extreme interaction, I've done it before and had no complaints, can't say the same for everyone though.

SSRI medications inhibit the effects of psilocin/psilocybin because they both work on serotonin, but bupropion does not derive its efficacy from working on the serotonin system. So from my extremely elementary understanding I would think you could get high from mushrooms while taking bupropion.

There are no interactions between wellbutrin and psilocybin. However, I have a friend who claims it dulls his experiences. As for the food, I recommend a light meal an hour or two before dosing. Be sure to have snacks within reach as well. Lots of folks don't take it into consideration, but in my opinion hypoglycemia(low blood sugar) has a significant effect on the mentality of the tripper, sometimes driving them into a negative state.

im pretty sure i tripped while i was on bupropin, an 8th did work while i was taking another ssri, but it was much weaker and just felt different, hard to explain.

More importantly, I would start dieting a few days before. Eat light organic foods that wont take too much work for your body to digest.
Doing this will give you a much cleaner experience.
Uncomfortable body loads can often be a result of poor diet.
