I rate them as the best rock band of all time. Yes including the beatles, pink floyd, etc etc.

If you go to facebook.com and go to the official chevelle page, they are signing each and every preorder of the new album for fans.

I'm about to have the autograph of #1 band and my #1 rapper to get framed (already have a rakim autograph album)

^^ Yeah. They're not like Led Zeppelin where they would have to sign 6814681 million records. They're not really all that big when you think about it. We're in a day and age where most of music is just downloaded for free. Shit, it got me to spend the 9.99 at least. They can't fake that on an official site, they could get sued or some shit

They are definitely similar to Tool.

I just like Peter's voice a lot more than maynards (who i'm still a huge fan of)

I liked Wonder What's Next, and This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In.  But I would not at all call them the best rock band of all time.

I hear ya ma. thats what i love about music. i love zeppelin, but when people call them the greatest band of all time, i gotta wonder how all of the wayyyy better singers are left out of the discussion / competition.

my ears would be borderline dumb to like him better than Loeffler

^^ I guess. Today's metal that I hear is that deathmetal shit where they won't sing a single word. Peter Loeffler sings a huge amount of Chevelle's songs. I guess i'd call it Hard Rock over Rock & Roll. My appologies

^^ Put it down in permanent ink. No disrespects to Plant, but other than No Quarter and When The Levee Breaks i think a lot of his vocals are pretty annoying and don't stack up to Peter Loeffler's melodic screams

Opinion is gonna be here forever, man. And its gonna stir some shit up from time to time.

Yeah, seriously.  Robert Plant is amazing.  As was all of Zeppelin.  Singing >>>>>>> screaming, any day of the week.  I'm not sure you can even call this guy from Chevelle singing - it definitely sounds like some shitty, screamy metal to me :shrug:
