Just Bought an iPhone....

Never had an Apple product before.  We have Macs in the lab at school, but I never use them.  It's always seemed pretty counter-intuitive to me.  I'm sure this is only because I grew up using PCs, but I can never really make Macs do what I want.

I've had several different Android phones since they started releasing them and have always had nothing but good experiences, but my last Droid just took a huge dump and I need a new phone.  I have tons of friends who swear by their iPhones and Verizon sold me one of the new ones for 99 bucks.

So yeah, I guess I am an Apple user now.  I am both a little bit excited and a little bit ashamed.  I always mock Apple fanbois.

What am I gonna do now?

All I really need to survive is a Wikipedia app and Words with Friends, so I guess I'll manage.

i just got rid of my iphone. i loved it till i used an htc inspire 4g. it puts apple to shame. bigger screen, amazing apps and loading web pages is 2x faster. i have been an apple user for 4 years now but no more... its a great phone dont get me wrong but i am now converted.

I don't really like Apple at all considering they're trying so hard to become a monopoly on mobile and tablets.

However, the iPhone really does win the cup.

Do you have any info or idea's on that situation, now that you brought it up. Ive heard people briefly talk about like audio recorders in them that can't be disabled and the camera constantly runs etc.

Who knows about this crazy shit that is being used against us ? speak up.

So it came in the mail earlier today.

I've been using it for a few hours.

So far, I am frustrated.  I am sure I will grow more comfortable with it in a few days, but right now it is making me kinda angry.

Had to google how to close an app that had crashed.  Should it really be that hard?  lol.

Not all screens can be flipped from portrait to landscape for ease of typing.  Whuuuuu?

Need to put in a password for every single app I download, even ones that are free?  For why?

And can I really not remove 90% of these icons on my home screen?  The stocks icon is there forever?  Really?

Like I said, I just got it and am sure I will love it eventually.  I remember thinking my Android phone was wonky when I first got it all.
