Any images which are uploaded and hosted on the site will show up as thumbnails by default. However, there's an option under display preferences to "show full-sized hosted images instead of thumbnails" for people who prefer that.

If the image is hosted offsite, it will be displayed at its original resolution by default, but again there's an option to "limit width of images in posts" which can affect how it will appear for certain members.

With the new setting

Same thing.

Do I need to re-upload after the new setting?
