my friends and i are developing a new calendar
    #15235985 -

basically, we feel that the release of enigma's album "mcmxcd a.d.", 1990 in roman numerals, released by no accident in the year 1990 (by the current calendar), was a major turning point in civilization. rather than measuring before and after christ, the year 1991 could be relabeled as 1 a.e. (after enigma) and the year 1989 could be labeled as 1 b.e. (before enigma) and increasing each way away from the "mcmxcd a.d.".

for example, i was born in 1978, therefore under this new calendar i was actually born in the year 11 b.e.

feel free to add suggestions on how we can improve on this concept,or pay homage to this multi-platinum, ground breaking release by incorporating it into your life. incidentally i'm changing my driver's license address due to a recent move and am going to ask about having my dob changed as well to reflect the new calendar.

They wont change it. Think about it, if you just make up some different way of keeping track of the year, then we would hae all done that shit in highschool so we could get beer.

You: "Its 1987 by the calender I made up."
Cashier: "Oh ok, well I guess I trust you, heres you 3 cases of bud lite."
