Man you would be surprised how deep the craft brew scene has gotten. If you can appreciate the intricacies of the hop then I recommend checking out some Double IPA's. Hop strains are like cannabis, there's so many to choose from and they all have different characteristics. And just like cannabis they are crossed and combined in the brew to create a tasty and unique beer. The different aromas, flavors and effects are out of this world good.

If hops aren't your thing then I would recommend going the other direction and check out some Imperial Stouts or Barley Wines. Imperial Stouts showcase the realm of malt. Dark, roasted and full of flavor like dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and dark fruits they're every bit as tasty as DIPA's but on the other end of the spectrum. Dark as night in color and flavor compared to the deep orange citrus and pine character of the DIPA. Both are high in abv as well so they're best sipped in moderation.

Barley Wines are similar to DIPA's but they focus on being a malt bomb instead of a hop bomb. Some of the west coast Barley Wines are even highly hopped to create a strong, deep and complex brew that is either loved or hated. I love it all.
