What's unfair or unbalanced about their editorial piece vs. a possibly-tampered public poll?  They're not even related.  That public poll had no validity, especially in relation to who actually won.  Fox News isn't the only one reporting Romney as the winner.

Same shit as four years ago. RP would win the phone in poll after a debate then Hannity or some other muppet would discredit it saying these people are just calling over and over or some shit. Then the next day number two would be number one.

yup, it's not just fox news, the entire mainstream media is trying to pretend that Ron Paul doesn't exist. It clearly shows their bias against libertarian conservatism. I think it's fucked up and I'm not even a Ron Paul supporter. I'm a radical environmentalist and a socialist.

Straw-man argument.  Ignoring an invalid public poll != ignoring a candidate.

Stuff like this is why I stay out of politics in general.  Everyone thinks they're right and trying to persuade each other only further-embeds each side in their position.

dude I didn't say that this one incident shows that the media is ignoring Ron Paul. They have clearly been ignoring him for a long time. Are you denying that fact?

Ron Paul wins poll != poll was spammed?? that's some flawless logic right there.
perhaps Ron Paul's supporters are younger and therefore more active online

Oh yeah, I forgot. Fox News is such a reputable news source that they would never sacrifice their journalistic integrity by taking down a poll unless they had proof it was spammed. The heroes over at fox news would never allow their bias to conflict with their fair and balanced reporting.

I'm not willing to debate this anymore.  I hate internet debates.  I'm pretty politically apathetic so I really care very little on this topic to begin with.

I disagree. I think when you have the ability to manipulate people on such a large scale there is an implicit obligation to the public to not be deceptive. The press can only function if it operates in alliance with the public rather than competing against them.

edit:I'm talking in generalities here, I don't know anything about this particular incident.
