my roommate last year was a 3rd year chem student. he brought home an entire jug of ether one day.

we never really measured it, but would just get a small bit of cloth soaked in it and then drop that in a plastic bag, than just huff from that.

you end up with a feeling very similar to n20, but it both is slower to come on and slower to leave, and you have to pretty much be continually huffing the entire time.

not bad on a whole, but then the added fact that it makes any place instantly reek of ether, you yourself will smell like a chem lab for a few hours, and it is flammable so you can't smoke ganja at the same time... make it a general pass--but still fun to try.

What the hell is nonewbs?

Nevermind, I went to their forum. But it still sounds kind of shitty. Their online users list, for example...

nigerianscammer
GREEZY'S BOTTOM BITCH
The Cocksman

What is this site all about?

i think you can buy it from auto shops and bike shops as well, its break fluid or some sort of car fluid that they use for cleaning or something

Yeah i did that once, using starting fluid and the only thing it did is make me smell like ether for a day or two from my pores and it never really made me feel like I thought it should have

how much diethyl ether does it take to get you fucked up? do you need a large volume of it to produce enough fumes or would 5 or so mL produce enough? maybe if i spread it out on a rag or something to increase surface area?

i have changed my mind about what i am going to do with these sample vials. i think i am going to start bringing home compounds out of the lab. next week we are using diethyl ether and... yea im going to pipette some into the bigger of the vials and see if i cant get a little bit of a 'fear and loathing' style ether binge going.

i was bored just now and started google searching the random shit we have been using the past weeks and it turns out about 4 hours ago i had a precurser for methaqualone (quaaludes) in my hands... and i dumped it in the waste container because i didnt know thats what it could have been used for

Yeah, a few mls will do you good.

I second that, did it a handful of times before I figured out how nasty it is, that smell will stick in your nose and mouth for hours. Its easy to over do and be way too fucked up, like way way too fucked up. It also gives you a wicked hangover. What they say about it in fear n loathing is true, it is such an intense fuck up, it can be truly terrifying, and you are completely helpless to do anything about it.

This will be the last post that you read from me.

Not because I'm mad or anything like that, but rather because forums get stale after a while and I've gotten all that I wanted out of this one (and perhaps nonewbs as well).

I was slightly disappointed because my last thread was supposed to be all in good fun, but some of you are now calling me "retarded" and saying "fuck you" even though I explained why I made the thread and why I brought nonewbs into it. I'm over that now, though, because this is just a forum and none of you know the real me and I don't know the real YOU.

Anywho, thanks for the laughs and insights.

Cheers, and namaste.

:hi: bye, it was nice knowing you, post ones in a while
