It's been 10 years, and yet we still act like it just happened yesterday every single year.

Just imagine if every other country had a day of mourning like this with news coverage all day and everything for every act of terrorism or any other tragic event.

I'm thinking some countries would be seeing this shit every day of their lives. Sure, 9/11 was a tragedy, but honestly, we need to get over it already (Let's throw Katrina in there while we're at it.)

We needed 9/11 to make the world what it is today, it seems like something that was not just a freak incident of sandniggerdom to me. What logical reason would terrorists from another country have to blow up the twin towers and then not proceed to fuck up the rest of our country? Instead we just went in and invaded them, using 9/11 as a scape goat when its a completely unrelated matter, a matter whos only real effect has to do with the shaving of the constitution and limiting our rights.

Well that could very well be your reason right there, not only did they kill people, but now they're apparently limiting our rights (I still feel pretty damn free however, so i guess opinions differ on what it means to be free) and causing much distrust within our country, of the people in power and our own citizens (proven by the mass amounts of conspiracy theories)

I like to stick with the "that's what terrorists do, blow shit up, kill people, and cause chaos" mentality as to why this happened.

Well you shouldnt lump us all together but yes its true. Why we hang on to this
type of shit is beyond me. There was a guy on TV the other day who helped build
the towers. He said something like "I will never forget blah blah until we get
even or get ahead" Like whatever the fuck that means.

I wish no one would have made a 9/11 thread. Like Morgan Freeman said the best way
to get rid of racism is to STOP TALKING ABOUT IT.

You pulled a false cause, assuming, since I took offense to a talking frog, that I was incapable of taking criticism, and just said 'red herring' to cover your lame ass comment.  Besides, the world talks shit on Americans, but copies everything we do.
Getting back on topic, I had an awesome Sept. 11th.  Grilled burgers and steaks, had a couple (maybe more) of some good stout beers, and laughed.
