I wish I could deep fry without that terrible oil smell all through the house. :gc:

I need to figure out how to do it outside.

I'd deep fry fuckin' everything.

Has anyone ever deep fried mushrooms?  I need to try this. :awebig:

Haven't personally, but a local restaurant makes fried mushrooms dipped in a batter with ranch dressing. Very tasty!

it's probably better off
if it wasn't for that smell I'd fry stuff a lot more often

those are basically the same southwest egg rolls you get from chili's

Noodle Bean Cheese... my own personal creation!

Step One
Open can of beans and put in a small sauce pan. Chop the cheese into squares and add to the beans. Pour in some tomato sauce. Heat on low until cheese melts. (Spice however you want and add whatever ingredients you like. I recommend fresh sliced tomatoes and some sauteed onions and garlic. Hot red pepper is ALWAYS a good idea!)

Step Two
Boil the shell noodles. Strain and rinse.

Step Three
Mix the bean-cheese and the noodles. Hooraay! You have noodle-bean-cheese!

The beauty of this recipe is that it's cheap, filling, flexible, and abso-fucking-lutely delicious! I highly recommend you make some!

A recipe i have used faithfully over the years.....

Toasty Dog

Ingredients:
-Hot Dog Bun
-Hot Dog (of your choice, I like real skinned dogs)
-Shredded cheese (of your choice, a good melter)
-Jalapenos from a jar, or fresh if you like a lot of kick
-Red Pepper Flakes
-Mustard
-BBQ Sauce

Directions:

Put your cheese, red pepper flakes, and jalapenos inside your hot dog bun and out the bun into a pizza oven or regular oven at 400 degrees.  After this step take your hot dog and throw it in a deep fryer, or frying pan with some oil if you have no deep fryer.  Then wait patiently as dankness slowly emerges.  The hot dog will float slightly when done and the skin will crisp up to a dark brown. (it should coincide with the browning and melting of your hotdog bun and cheese)  Take the hot dog put it inside the bun, add mustard and BBQ to desired level and dshsb.

I love fried hot dogs
but I wrap mine in bacon, fry them, then cover them with cheese and baked beans
