Michelina's 'dinners'....
    #14994478 -

Does anyone else think these things are really good?  I like them a lot, especially for the price.

*edit* sorry, I also meant to mention adding some things to them while warming them up; such as a couple of sliced of cubed cheese, a bit of ranch dressing, and a small amount of milk...stir it up and finish the last minute and a half.

Add condiments as you see fit. (I add some salt, a couple of drops of hot sauce, and pepper)

Those are even worse than banquet dinners. The only cheap T.V dinners I'll buy have to be mac and cheese. I go to my local winco and get Lean Cuisine asian varieties for under $2 a pop usually.

Cooking also takes lots of time, especially for the best varieties of food. Sounds like OP is in college.

Best microwave dinner around...

Marie Calender's is good too.  If one must be forced to eat microwave dinner, these are two great choices.

The Michelina's  only cost $1 at wal-mart.

Banquet dinners are the worst.

Fuck, I need to start eating better.

First of all, Michelina's are hands down the worst TV dinners on the market.  Taste like total ass.

Secondly, you ADD salt? Do you have any idea how much salt those things have in them already?

I like cooking but I am not the one paying for food in my current situation.

I guess about 3 - 5 of my meals a week are home made food. The rest of the time its prepackaged stuff meant for shelf life and budget.

I eat lots of pasta though and usually make the sauces my self. I eat better than I use to but I still have some old eating habits that are proving hard leave behind.

I made sausage with bell pepper and onion last night.  :drooling:

Yeah adding salt and ranch dressing sounds pretty awful.  The only thing I add to mine is fresh ground black pepper.

They all have different amounts of salt in them, and yes, I add salt to some of mine, not all.  It depends on which kind I'm eating.  Also, they definitely are not the shittiest 'tv dinner' out there.

To the people talking about cooking, I can cook, but I'm pretty lazy sometimes.

No, Michelina and Banquet are definitely the lowest quality TV dinners there are...

I'll respect your opinion, but I'll buy Michelina's if I'm looking to spend 1$ for some noodles with sauce.  Glad to read everyone's opinion on this.

I really like the Michelina's Mac N Cheese, and I like their Noodle Alfredo.  I don't buy their shit with meat in it, btw.  Oh, and you are right, Stouffer's shit is GREAT.  It just cost a bit more.

No, because they're really not all that cheap considering how small they are.

I only stick with the alfredo/white sauce flavors. I dont like Michelina's mac n cheese.

I grew up on stouffer's mac n cheese.

It is pretty cheap, considering how convenient it is.  Size isn't the only thing taken in to consideration when justifying price.

Anyways,  I guess I should just cook my own food all the time.

*Edit*

And yes, the white/alfredo sauces are DEFINITELY the best ones.

They're only slightly more appetizing than a pack of ramen noodles.

You can have cheap steaks, frozen vegetables, and a baked potato for about the same price, you just have to buy more at once, and spend more than 10 seconds preparing it. Fuck, I'd rather have a cheap hamburger from up the street than one of those nasty things.
