Update:  So she and I have stopped talking to each other, and I'm just ganna let her be for now.  But I was thinking about giving her this poem I wrote after concert choir on Tuesday, and just telling her to read it later.  What do you think?  Should I do it?  Am I barking up the wrong tree? :shrug:


"Queen Without a Crown"

The world is on the attack
And she’s building walls again
Building them so tall and wide
And arming them with men

Anyone who dares to pass
Must not be weak at heart
For the journey through is perilous
And has already left too many scarred

Archers, cannons, dragons, galore!
Her castle is complete
But will her hero pass the test?
Or will he face defeat?

Atop her throne she lays in wait
Deeply dreaming of the day
The day her fearless prince arrives
So she can finally wake

But there she rests so deep inside
Growing ever lonely in the dark
The flame that once grew tall and wide
Has been reduced but to a spark

For the walls that she has built so tall

My initial reaction was :facepalm:

But...actually, I did this one time. I pissed a girl off kind of and then wrote her a poem or whatever and sent it to her. She never really commented on it but we still talk to one another........however...........I've known her for several years now and still no poontang.

It really depends on how she takes it. She might think it's desperate and childish or she might get all moist and sit on yer face. or.....she might put you in a glass jar on her shelf  :goldfarb:

I'd never write a poem for a girl I didn't know that well.  Too jaded and old for that sorta crap, but uh I guess you could try.  I just see it as more coming off a little too uhm, dunno, it's hard to explain what it seems like.

I agree, crazy can be damn attractive.  But there's a fine line between dodging the occasional projectile with crazy, hot sex and worrying about waking up with all your bits in place.

I'd make sure it's the former and not the latter.

Haha, I used to leave secret admirer notes in a girl's desk when I was like 8 years old. :lol:  Also wrote her poems.  I had a bit of a flashback. :lol:

Though if you find the right girl, she'll like the poems no matter how old she is.  But usually the psycho ones aren't them.
