No dude...its not pneumothorax.

I had pneumothorax. It's debilitating. Literally feels like your plural cavity has been filled up with good 20 pounds of concrete.
YOU KNOW when your lung has collapsed.

There are two types of pneumothorax...one is called spontaneous and the other one is traumatic.

Traumatic is when your chest was punctured from the outside.
Spontaneous just happens sometimes...for no reason...a bit of air starts to escape through a lung and fills up one side of your chest.

Either type can turn into tension pneumothorax if treatment is not provided immediately.
Hemothorax is a bit different...from what I understand when you bleed out into your plural cavity, the pressure in the lung and the cavity is relatively the same so the discomfort is not as bad.

Wouldn't know what tension pneumothorax feels like...but when you get to that stage you're pretty much one foot in the grave as your heart is literally compressed and isn't able to pump up to full capacity anymore.

I had spontaneous pneumothorax...just went to bed and woke up with it. Took a shower, had breakfast and walked to the hospital. They kinda rushed me in, KOd me with ketamine and inserted a tube in my chest...lolz.

Before the tube went in, it was one of the most terrible pains I've felt in my life. Any movement turns into chest pain...your breath is about 1/4 as long as when both lungs are in operation.

From what my surgeon told me, you don't really feel much different when it's tension...your skin just slowly starts going blue and you start to suffer hypoxia until you eventually end up in cardiac arrest. I would imagine arrythmia might kick in in the later stages just prior the arrest, due to the excessive pressures present.

Yea, turns out they give K to people when they need to be knocked out completely for a short period of time...since barbiturates are not as popular in the medical field any more, K is the way to roll. They IVd me with a cocktail of K and pheno something-rather to slow down the breathing a bit....holy fuck you should have seen the K hole I went into. I don't even like recreational K at all...but the shit they did to me in the ER was epic.

ive had chest pains for years, and I have been to the hospital countless times, and have massive bills from it. I have never had anyone find anything wrong with me......

i think it might just be anxiety
