Is anyone else using Firefox 6, and can you see flash videos on the boards?  :confused2:

using *nix? i'm on FF6 and windows, but i can recall flash and linux based machines having problem with various flash plugins in the past.

Might sound a bit ironic, but it's a Mac. :lol:

The Linux plugin is working perfect on my laptop.


It's definitely Firefox. I tried other browsers and flash is fine.

I'm using FF6 and am able to view flash videos without any issues. Could you paste a link to a post where you are having a problem?

If you go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ does it say the Flash Player is successfully installed?

I can't think of anything in Firefox 6 which would affect this, and when I logged in as you I didn't have any problem playing videos. Maybe try running Firefox without any addons and see if that helps?

Yes, I reinstalled too.

I can watch stuff at the actual YouTube site with Firefox. Or any other flash.

And I'm pretty sure I have flash enabled in my account settings, because I see flash on the Shroomery with other browsers.

Woah I re-enabled all my plugins and extensions...and I can see flash now. Problem solved, I guess.


Why it only wouldn't work on the Shroomery, will remain a mystery. :confused2:
