This is what I have been smoking on for the past couple weeks and I'm still not tired of it, it's a really satisfying high :awesome:. What I have is Blueberry X Mazar, what I understand is the original Skywaker...I am not sure if the stuff they label "Skwywalker OG" is a skywalker cross or just Skywalker with OG slapped onto it. I know "OG" just stands for ocean grown, and it seems to be thrown around in the MMJ market a lot.

ahhhhhh i just picked up today.. actually it fell right into my lap and i was in the right place at the right time. no hassle.


then a couple hours later, the same exact thing happened for "medicinal haze" he called it

idk what to think when people say stuff like that but i looked at it and smelled it and its definitely better bud than most people i know have.

what really made it stand out for me to buy it was the color.. its really really light green and in some spots it almost looks white from, i think, tiny tiny hairs.

the other bag i have is just some no name headies but the kid said it was really really good. just burned half a bowl and i am incredibly high.


today turned out to be a pretty good day.

I've always heard it referred to as ocean grown and not "original gangster" like a lot of people think.



It's a long standing debate, and there are many stories, but here is one of the most common stories explaining "OG" Kush



....In late '93 John from Grass Valley Ca. got the Chem Dog cut. He shared it with me, Jerry(cowboy) from Dibble Creek Ca. and Harold(Putz) from Sunset Beach Ca. Putz had a male he called the secret ingredient. It was a cross of Lemon Thai and an Old World Paki Kush. Putz bred the secret ingredient to the Chem Dog. The buds that came out of this cross were going around So. L.A. county in '95. Someone told Putz that Kush must be so good because it was mountain grown. Putz laughed and told him "this Kush is Ocean Grown Kush bro". The tag stuck and it became known as OG Kush....





Funny thing is, OG Kush isn't even a true kush and is mostly sativa. And like I mentioned before I often see "OG" thrown onto names of strains in the medical scene.

I went out to a party, left cuz it was kinda lame and picked up a bag of dank on the way home. I get home and go to pull out the bag and i can't find it anywhere.
I hadn't got out of the car anywhere so I knew it had to be in the car or somewhere around the house. I looked everywhere in the car, outside with a flashlight, the bud is no where to be found. I chalk it up to karma giving me a kick in the ass and go back inside. Soon as I get in the door my 2 pugs run up. I see something in one of their mouth's and sure enough it was my bag of dank.

Yeah, that's supposedly true. I think nowadays Chem Dawg cuts are probably closer to the original OG genetics. Sour Diesel -> Chem Dawg -> OG, all related pretty closely, with SD being mostly sativa, Chem Dawg a hybrid (often sativa dominant) and most OGs nowadays are perplexingly heavy indicas. Perhaps because Cali is huge on this heavy OG craze, or at least SoCal is.

I would say out of all the OG strains I've had, Lime Kush and Tahoe OG were the only somewhat even hybrids.
