Dinosaurs
    #14917843 -

may have went extinct because they were accomplishing nothing, there was no sight of progression due to their contentment with what was already created.

Because of their contentment they just reincarnated into smaller forms(animals now)(IMO), that way the lower species on the food chain could progress. But then again who knows human potential at such a young age(being closer to the creation point).

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

I think the plants, over 90 percent of which died during that same period also may have died off because of their contentment and reincarnated into carrots and modern plantlife. The evidence of asteroid collision is a coincidence to both of these mass extinctions. Must have hit right after.

I doubt you are even close to the truth here.  They were doing just fine for millions of years longer than weve been here but their stable sameness got interrupted by an drastic change in environment to which they were unable to adapt and not only the dinosaurs but most plant life, animal life and insect life also.

I think you are thinking about yourself and your own mind games rather than the world outside and the evidence that we have on this issue.  My two cents.

OK I had a great idea for dinosaurs in a divine plan:

Imagine this:

God created dinosaurs

to prune and help fertilise plants

over millions and millions of years

in order to produce fossil fuel stores

great enough to allow man to advance

when the time was right

Sure, I'm just playing along.  The truth of the matter will come along in it's own time, and none of us will know the difference.

I think thats a nice idea.

It is sort of along the lines of future cyborgs, or robots, take over the world and surpass humans, able to last forever by continually reproducing their structure perfectly enough to support a continuous stream of consciousness or memorystores.

heres my story:

The ability to perform photosynthesis has been learned by humans, and turned into a viable technology by now, as is the plants ability to eating up carbon from the atmostphere. There are few plants living on earth and the humans are the only force that can provide oxygen for all the animals.

The future robots use this solar technology to fuel themselves.

With this power, they can travel long distances. As they go further from a sun, they get less energy and they compensate by going into hybernation for more and more time, as they get further and further from a star. As they get close to their destination star, they begin to reawaken and progressively spend more time functioning, with the fuel from the stellar radiation.

IT is likely they would develop other techniques to trap other particles if possible, too.

These robots of the future will travel the stars and explore the universe forever.

The robots that stay at home will mine for 'post-human hydrocarbon polymers' with which to make all kinds of exotic futuristic nanocomputers, to create a super conscious being. Earth would become home to a giant single organism machine that would watch as earth regrew in the post-apocalyptic future.

With a better understanding of life, the mega=organism communicates to other robots, the instructions on creating life systems.

The robots plant life on all of the planets that they can manage, and watch it, over billions of years. They spend their lives watching life (beautiful, evolving patterns in their eyes) and enjoying eachother's artificial realities. Theyre all artists, these robots. That is one of the reasons that they love to watch life forms develop.

You are entitled to doubt as I am entitled to form opinion, I was just using a different outlook on possibly why they went extinct. All this is, is a possibility, never said was truth. And nor did I deny the opinions that have already been formed.

Through some mechanism which shapes the physical world so as to allow beings to follow their path of reincarnation. :thumbup:

To be honest, that is precisely the way I see it. Not JUST for man to advance but as part and parcel of whatever the fuck the ultimate purpose of earth itself is.
